Bush finds the Geneva Convention a bit of a nuisance and sees no reason it need apply to his prisoners. He really seems to think that he automatically has right on his side, and the hand of God is on his shoulder. He is losing it completely, if he ever had it. Latest news |

not only is he losing it, the people allow it to. the danger with doing what you like with prisioners is that if they are put under enough strain/pain they will say anything to get you to stop. so you'll get a false confession, which directs the secruity services time, money, and skills to a false pending attacks and increases the possibility or a real attck because there is to many people running around chasing shadows that dont exsist. so human rights need to be respected, polygraph em, then you will know whos lieing and who isnt. then interogate when you know there lieing. |

Yes, what people say under torture is simply unreliable, so it is ineffective, as well as being morally repugnant. |
