Words fail me. And to think they could be introduced into residential areas as well. And what sort of people will be operators turn into in their regular life, after spying and grassing on people all day? Do you think they'll be able to switch that kind of mentality off? Will anyone even speak to them anymore?

I don't even need to go into all the 1984 / police state-type comparisons.

I'd consider leaving the UK if I thought the rest of the world would be any better. But, barring the Galapagos Islands, I very much doubt it.
