|
|
Following up on Frog’s recent experience, I am planning on placing two bets this coming weekend:
1). That the US Govt admits WTC7 was collapsed by explosives, before the end of this year.
2). By the end of 2008, it will be acknowledged and accepted as fact that elements within the US administration were complicit in staging the events of 9/11.
(Change dates as you feel appropriate)
How about we try to co-ordinate this and get as many people as possible to place similar bets (with either Ladbrokes or William Hill) at exactly the same time (11am) on Saturday morning (Sept 23rd)?
If 200 or 300 people are placing the same bet at the same time, someone's gonna take notice! If the local betting shop manager refuses to take the bet, ask them to check it out with Head Ofice.
Then post your experience on this thread.
Good Luck.

Great idea, Ian,
If someone shows me a bookies near Albert Sq, Manchester on Sat, I'll do it!
On Bet #1, make the date June 2007, as NIST have 'anticipated' that their (first ever) WTC7 'draft report will be released by early 2007'.
It might make a few betting industry researchers a wee bit more wary........ |

What would the local clerk in the betting shop do to give you odds? Does he have to ring up central for a quote? Can you walk into a shop and ask for odds against any event? Sorry but I am new to this gambling lark but it sounds like a good idea. |

Dear Mr Collier,
Thank you for your e-mail.
We can confirm that we would not offer a price on such an event as we do not offer prices on any negative events taking place.
With regards,

I think maybe we should concentrate on the Pentagon not being hit by a plane..or Twin towers brought down by controled demolition....unlikely to get very good odds though.. 5/1 at best imho |

Ian superb idea. I'm up for a co-ordinated effort. The more that try the more likely it is to make a splash too.
Mason free party, regarding Tom at William Hill, perhaps you might like to ask him to explain what is negative about the truth of 9/11 becoming known.
Do you have his email addy ?
How can that possibly be construed as a negative event ? _________________ The Medium is the Massage - Marshall McLuhan. |

DOH!
Completely forgot about this. Anyone have any luck? I've looked on the websites of both business, and about the nearest I can get is for the US Elections. |
