Place Your Bets - Sat 23rd Sept

I originally posted this in the Campaigning section ... but if we spread the word, we can make this into a NATIONAL EVENT!

Following up on Frog’s recent experience, I am planning on placing two bets this coming weekend:

1). That the US Govt admits WTC7 was collapsed by explosives, before the end of this year.

2). By the end of 2008, it will be acknowledged and accepted as fact that elements within the US administration were complicit in staging the events of 9/11.

(Change dates as you feel appropriate)

How about we try to co-ordinate this and get as many people as possible to place similar bets (with either Ladbrokes or William Hill) at around the same time, (11am) on Saturday morning (Sept 23rd)?

If a few hundred people (or thousands) are placing the same bet at the same time, right across the Country, someone's gonna take notice! If the local betting shop manager refuses to take the bet, ask them to check it out with Head Office.

I will be takeing along a few copies of Loose Change II and encouraging the managers in the Bookies to watch the DVD so that they can appreciate why the bets are being made.

There will be a whole bunch of people in Manchester at the weekend; let's make sure that the Manchester bookies get the message.

Spread the word out to all your contacts. Have no worries, if the bookies smell (what they think is) easy money, they'll come up with the odds.

Meanwhile, I will draft a press release to be sent to all the major media at mid-day on Saturday, advising that thousands of people descended
on Ladbrokes & William Hill, right across the Country, placing bets on US government complicity in the events of 9/11.

Let's make this happen!

This is IMO top quality creative 911 truth campaigning. I discussed this with Frog at London and discovered his experience. We should also all do this not just for the campaign but for Frog who had the vision and balls to carry it out on his own!

Tried to place my bets with Ladbrokes.

They dont take "negative" bets was the response. They would not explain to me what a negative bet was.

Well done for trying Pikey, i was travelling to the STW demo at the time and didnt find a bookies. Did anyone else manage this? I still think its a great campaign idea for significant dates but it needs numbers and organisation. Havent people placed odds on alien contact and such, which could be negative, if they come in shielded heat ray machines and not candy following huggable forms!

I did try to place my bets at William Hill in Totnes; albeit a little later than planned as I was driving back from Gatwick.

The local manager was a bit taken aback by the proposed bets, which I had printed out so as to ensure that there was no ambiguity. Once he had read through the bets and established how much I was prepared to wager, he immediately phoned HQ. After a ten minute conversation he returned to advise that I should make contact with the following organisation:

Thank you Ian for your response and i look forward to hearing the reply to your enquiry. If you manage a way through on this, this will be an excellent future idea. I myself feel i could have made gambling friends a mint via bets on the Pitsburg Steelers making the Superbowl 40 win thanks to Superbowl Steve. who luckily wasnt right about a bigger bang or may have saved many from it in the process. He was however correct that Birdflu would outbreak thereafter, 12 countries in 14 days I believe, including the Scottish drill that coincided. Thankfully all a BS scare to make Rumsfeld some cash and nothing more, thus far!

You should put a wager on the US Government coming out with another "Ladies and gentlemen....we got him!" but this time swap Saddam for a dead Bin Laden.

Rumour has it that the story will be out by November, just before the elections in November and coincide with the new footage that the FBI promised to release of the Doubletree Hotel video footage from across the road of the Pentagon.
