Just like MI5, CIA, FBI and Hollywood.
Every era needs an all encompassing narrative.
Before the 'war on terror' we had the 'war against communism'.
Ie a war of the rich against the poor and their natural resources.
The more things change the more they stay the same... |

Good question - I dont think they do - the republicans make this sh*t up.... In fact everything is made up - There were no hijacked planes either. Its almost embarrasing... These people are insane, living in a world of fear and paranoia - they are very dark, very anti-spiritual people..no regard for human life - and they are in the seats of power which is bad news on the human "collective" psyche... our collective consiousness.... "Al-Qaeda" ... They have been lying to us! All we have to do now is wake people up! _________________ Where the hell is my country gone? What PLANET am I on? |

If you watch Who Killed John O'Neil DVD (not really for beginners) one of the characters says that it does. But not to act as terrorists and hijackers. That's just for public consumption. al-Qaeda has a responsible and serious job, running the global trade in drugs. This is most likely what Mohammad Atta and his pals were doing, when they weren't womanising, drinking, and using cocaine. They were pilots, distributing the product. The Florida flight schools were probably a good cover. |

They must think we are idiots - I reckon everything at the time was a "cover" story when I look back at it. Its the oldest trick in the book - commit a serious crime and blame it on an "imaginery" enemy. An enemy that only exists in their tiny evil minds.... _________________ Where the hell is my country gone? What PLANET am I on? |

Before 9/11 they were known as mujahadeen, fighting the Sovs in Afghanistan, after 9/11, they were re-invented as the big, bad guys. But in fact as I've posted elsewhere, they're probably running the global drug trade. Now there's a $500 billion per year, really useful job!

Bongo...no!
I find it a little odd that whenever the news has a report on how tough a time soldiers are having in Afganistan/Iraq, you never seem to see who they are fighting against. It's like they're shooting at nothing! |

It should really be called Al CIA-da. 'Al Qaeda' (literally, "the database") was never an independent group. From the very beginning (provoking the Soviets into Afghanistan), there was CIA\ISI leadership, control, funding etc. Bush Sr. even had radical Islamic literature sent over there, and to this today radical Islamic sects such as Wahabism are a direct creation of the same people\agencies mentioned above - as well as people still around from the Reagan era. _________________ "All we need is the right major crisis, and the nations will accept the New World Order." - David Rockefeller |

I would recommend the power of nightmares if people haven't seen it. Not perfect by any means but a good intro to the origins of violent jihadists and some of the on-going linkages back to the good olde CIA/neo-cons
Watch it here, along with some other excellent videos
