This thread is designed solely to post links and short desriptions to threads that deal with London news, events, campaigning and discussion
Not perfect, but if used correctly this will serve as a London campaign section for this network until someone creates something better

Here's how it works.

Create a new thread and then post a short description here together with the link and date

The next London planning meeting will be held at 7pm at The Counting House pub, 50 Cornhill, London EC3.

This will be a good chance to review the successes of the 5th anniversary weekend and to think strategically about how to build on them effectively.

We also need to focus on two big events in the next few weeks - the Manchester demo and the Truthfest at the end of the month. So please make every effort to attend.

Regards

Annie

Does anyone have access to a projector the London group could borrow for 16th October?

Regards

Hi Annie,

I have access to my employer's projector, it's reasonably small, modern and can take input from VGA (laptop) and perhaps SVideo. If you still need one let me know.

BTW I'm new to the site, but have been meaning to get involved (i.e. floundering) since approximately 12/9/2001 Smile It would be nice to get along and make a contribution!

Best,

Andrew

PS. Also PMing this just in case.

I don't have a "London" contact on my 9/11 site because I didn't know there was a London group. When I was informed there is one I asked about a website or email address. Nothing has been forthcoming.

Let me know when something is organised.

PM me

Well done Scubadiver - the first post on this thread in 6 months!

There was some discussion last year about London sorting out a discrete website for itself, as almost all other groups have done. It was, at the time, deemed to be unnecessary and this was the compromise.

However, times change. Most other groups have thriving websites to help them organise events, attract new members and discuss issues. Now that we also have the new Campaign website, www.911truthcampaign.net linking to all these local sites, perhaps we should think again. Particularly as the London group is taking shape, primarily down to the hard work of Belinda, Toseef, Andy, Noel, Stefan et al. So how about it? We could ask Ants, Mick or Ian B to give us the format other groups use, and give London it's own web identity at last.

Regards

Annie

As an alternative to setting up a specific London Website, you could set up a MYSPACE,

www.myspace.com

blogger

www.blogger.com

account or yahoo group

http://groups.yahoo.com

All of these are free and can be done online, following the associated help guides.
