Hi all
I have just recieved a letter from my MP Francis Maude, (he always replies to my letters).
I sent him a quite detailed e-mail about 9/11 covering the collapse of building 7 and the way that the twin towers fell, freefall speed, melting point of steel, etc.
His reply was this: "Thank you for your e-mail with your interesting theory about the events surrounding 9/11.
I have no reason to disbelieve the official version of events."
Surely he has a duty to investigate the claims and evidence put to him from his constituents.
Please feel free to e-mail him with your views:
francismaudemp@parliament.uk
I just get the feeling that if enough people target the same MP at the same time (with pre-written copy and pasted letters), we may have more impact.
What do you think?

Well done Martin. Don't be put off by the ridiculous, brief and evasive reply from Francis Maude. We've all had similar letters from our MPs - if you get one back that has more than ten lines in it you are making real progress!
These people are starting to get worried - their safe little world is under attack. My advice is that you ring his office and arrange for you and a friend (ie a witness) to go and see him at one of his surgeries. Take a laptop with you with Loose Change 2 ready to be played at the crucial points (ie collapses of WTC 1,2 and 7). Put the b* under pressure - but be really nice and friendly. A warm smile and friendly handshake will bring down his defences - share a joke or two and even have a laugh about being a 'conspiracy theorist'. Try and dress in a way so that he takes you seriously - I hate grey suits and ties myself, but just occasionally it pays to look like one of 'them'! Ask leading questions and try and avoid lecturing him - not easy as I know myself! Get him to admit the absurdity of the official conspiracy theory.
Whatever you do, have fun and keep at him.....and get friends, family and neighbours to write to him. If he gets ten different snail mail letters from ten constituents about 9/11, he will start to take this issue more seriously.
Good luck!

keep at it. they can't ignore us forever.
but don't show them loose change.theres too much speculation in it
try 'press for truth' and maybe 9/11 mysteries. much better _________________ "During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act" |

There is SOME speculation in LC2. However, the discussion of the destruction of WTC 1,2 and 7 is essentially the same as in other films. So it may boil down to which is easier to cue up.
If a laptop is available, it doesn't make much odds... _________________ Andrew

I have written to my MP many times (Humfrey Malins) on a range of issues. Every single time, I come away with nil action and the feeling of being heavily fobbed off.
While I realise they can't jump to every request, I would hope to see my concerns dealt with much better and I just get the feeling they are going through the motions, just to make it look like we have some sort of accountability.
I actually ran for parliament in 2005, just to see if I could get some issues out there, but it is impossible. If you kept at it for many years and a big issue you were known for came up, then you might have a chance. Otherwise it's a total stitch up. People in the main vote, depending on what they watch on T.V and what they read in the papers. All the mainstream media talk about is the three main puppet parties.
Even then they are encouraged to vote blue or red and the yellows are a joke. It's a sham and one that will take years to break.
The internet is the only thing driving the change I see at the moment and I reckon it will be locked down sooner or later. You can bet there are already major campaigns to push people back into their boxes being pushed out their on the web already.
Writing to MPs I think is actually a waste of time. Replacing them should be the ultimate objective. |

Well done Martin your efforts deserved better. This stonewalling from the press and politicians is consistent and representative of the reality......a totally dysfunctional democratic and free society.

MPs will only serve their own constituents so if your home address is not in their constituency its highly unlikely that they will respond, other than maybe to direct you to your own constituency MP.
Every MP and mainstream press editor has been given the 911 smoking gun information that the 911 Truth campaign is highlighting.
What we need to do as an organisation is to record and archive all the correspondence sent and received as Belinda suggested in a "Hall of shame" on this website. We need to conserve our limited energy and have a better strategy of using it. Creative vision and action are the keys with some central co-ordination from our Steering Committee.
There are MPs who do believe that the official version of 911 is the official conspiracy theory but they are in a minority and will not raise their heads above the parapet until a critical mass is reached outside parliament, i.e within the public masses. Some of these MPs are now actually announcing this at public meetings and we must protect them and nuture their support!
The strength, power, and success of the global 911 truth campaign rests in the hands of people like you Martin. Those who have come out of the box and made a personal judgement that the official version cannot possibly be the truth and to do something positive to fulfill our objective:- a full professional and INDEPENDENT investigation into revealing the truth of 911.
The non voters won the last UK election in 2005 and if you look at the trend it is getting bigger at each following election. At the last election I added a box and put:- "none of the above, 911 was an inside job" and put a cross against it.
We have a corporatised/capitalist, elitised, monarch serving mainstream press and political system. The ever expanding gap between the rich and poor is testimony to that fact.
IMO the only hope for the 911 truth campaign rests in the establishment of pro active constituency 911 truth groups Once these groups become organised they can then organise events to show a 911 dvd, with an audience present at least greater than 100 and invite the editors/journlists of the local press and their constituency MP.
Questions could then be fired at the MP and editors by the audience and those present could make a judgement of whether or not these people representatives possessed any professional duty of care for people. Maybe this would produce a different response to the stonewalling received by individuals and small groups?
So how about you setting up your own constituency 911 truth group Martin, with of course the help and support of the existing 911 truth network.
May the force of 911 truthseeking be with you Martin.
Well done also for the e mail you sent to Peter Hitchens. I followed this up with my own e mail message to him with your message attached stating that I totally endorsed its content and invited him to post a reply on this forum. _________________ Pikey

I would not replace them as such, but what I would like to see is a stop the drive to centralise all power.
1) Remove Britain from the EU and thus return it back to being in control of the democratically elected people of Britain. That doesn't mean bein isolationist, far from it. It would mean Britain could engage with the whole world on areas that is wanted to, cooperating when it wants to, but being able to say no when it clearly is against the wishes of the British people.
2) Devolve as much power down to local government as possible. There should only be minimal areas where the central government drives thing, but with the local areas joining in if they agree with the direction provided.
3) Have publically initiated referendums, just like Switzerland. It would need a percentage of people to sign a petition, on either a local level or a national one. For example if 5% signed for a vote on going to war in Iraq, then there would have to be a referendum on whether we go. Then it would have been up to the politicians to convince the public of each case.
I believe in democracy, but believe it can only really work on a certain scale. Even on a national level it is a push, anything more than that is just a farce and is why crooks like Mandelson talk about a "post-democratic" future, if you beleive in the centralisation of power as they do.
It would have to be underpinned by some constitutional rules on not allowing the majority to persecute a minority (I don't actually think the Brits would do that anyway, but just in case).
That's basicaly what I would like to see anyway. I would then expect to see a collaberative approach to the various global issues that face us and that collaberative approad would extend internationaly too. At the end of the day, the people have to feel they have some real say in the way their area and country is run, then work with other countries wherever we can. Hopefuly that model would take off and you would end up with countries across the planet emulating it.
I think Swizerland are close to being an ideal model and the fact they have no terror problems, no war problem, no real enemies are wealthy, happy and have a strong democracy says it all for me. |

I have never understood why Hitler didnt touch switzerland during the second world war. Just because they said they were neutral??? I'm sure alot of countries were 'neutral' but Hitler invaded anyway. So why leave Switzerland alone? |
