well done Scotland, it is brilliant, and I rejoice for you after watching England utterly fail to beat Macedonia. I think the chemtrails must be getting to our players! _________________ "What will I tell my grandchildren? That I knew, but did nothing about it?" |

Yes, this is a 911 site, not a football site. |

Not quite as sweet as "67" but sweet indeed.
Or is that serious? |

I dont bother with football anymore. Used to support spurs big time (went to matches every week) but kind of grew out of it. Now the only sport i would go out of my way for is world rally.
I know the MEN are supposed to be in to the wonderful game and all that but it just seems so pointless and futile now.
I await your attacks. _________________ "A great many people think they are thinking when they are merely rearranging their prejudices."

The thing I think about football is that:
I just to enjoy a kick about. Years ago, it was a good social activity. In the 70's it got tarred with a "yobs" image, which still lingers today. In the 80's and 90's money was poured into it.
It used to cost £15 to get into a big game - now it costs at least that on pay-per-view. In the premier league, a group of about 15 men (inlcuding subs) get paid 1000's of pounds each per week to kick a ball around some grass (or astroturf), while millions starve and campaigns like ours have little or no funds to do much.
Murdoch controls the UK football scene to a large extent.
For these reasons, it would be nice to think more people would play football than watch it - it would be cheaper too (although I know some do both).
I do enjoy these, however....
