What is the best way to combat our loss of privacy? I think we should shout about it, my partner disagrees - perhaps it would only bring on the inevitable police state sooner.

Ive emailed my concerns to 2 mps today (my mp one of them), sent an email to everyone I know (see my post in Campaigning), included these links in all emails Ive sent today, rung Channel 4 regarding their evening schedule (mindless blather plus airtime for a child molester).

I reckon that the microchip under the skin story in the Times Newspaper today 10th October 2006 will convince the vast majority of British people that this is all for real, and we all need to wake up to the fact that the ID society has gone too far, and we are being deceived on a daily basis by our media. Do you want your child microchipped like a Cat, Dog or a Horse? Or Cattle? Or Sheep?

A quick scan of the arm would connect immediately to bank details and payments could be made swiftly. Such microchips are already used in cats, dogs and horses. They are used in cattle and sheep so that consumers can trace their food from farm to plate and are also being used to help to combat drugs counterfeiting.

Wake up people! This is in the news now. Email your MP, ask to know what their views are. Contact the BBC, via their viewer contact numbers. Same for ITV and Channel 4. Explain your views to the person on the end of the phone. The news will spread. Sureley microchipping should be illegal in this country.

We must make it illegal before it becomes legal.

what about a stall in the high street getting people to pre-register for chipping.
including information on the two-way communication.
ie. it's not just for tracking/payment it's also for control & switching off subversives/criminals.

they won't want their future agenda exposed.

When I see this info about being micro chipped the Book of Revelation comes to mind as follows;

Rev.13:16: And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

I fear that in my life time this may just come true.

We do not have long left to oppose what the powers of this world are planning for us

Yes, yes and yes. There is an insidious slide towards “innocent” totalitarianism ie anti-democratic measures brought in to protect us from crime, terrorism and other recognisable evils but which contain within them the seeds of the destruction of the values we are in fact seeking to protect and preserve. You do not protect liberty by eroding it.
