Ive just read this, and to be honest it beggars belief.

Perhaps now we know why the Jack Straw/ Veil story got so much mileage.

It wasnt the only thing behind the veil.

Biggest bomb plot in British history - doesn't make news

Why?

Because the suspects are NEITHER ARAB, NOR MUSLIM.
A RETIRED Grange dentist is accused of being part of a bomb plot after a record number of explosives were seized in a Lancashire town.

David Bolais Jackson, 62, of Trent Road, Nelson, was arrested on Friday in the Lancaster area after leaving his Grange practice for the last time.

Jackson was charged with being in possession of an explosive substance for an unlawful purpose. [Notice the absence of terrorism charges]

However, it is unclear who or what the intended target might have been.

Police found rocket launchers, chemicals, British National Party literature and a nuclear or biological suit [!!!] at his home.

The find came shortly after they had recovered 22 chemical components from the house of his alleged accomplice, Robert Cottage, a former BNP election candidate, who lives in Colne.

The haul is thought to be THE LARGEST EVER FOUND AT A HOUSE IN THIS COUNTRY.
Aaah, no big deal. What's a few rocket launchers and a record number of explosives among friends?

Could of course be more Gladio style stuff. But truly mindboggling hypocricy on behalf of the Mainstream Media, or perhaps that should be their controllers !

With the greatest of respect, there is nothing that points to him being a 'terrorist' - what were his intentions exactly?

He may have simply wanted to blow up something or somebody who had pissed him off and not generate 'terror' per se. I see no mileage in assumptions.

That's never stopped the media.

Do you think it would have been different if they were Muslims?

Well 'Sky News' and the 'BBC' are now all over this story! Apparently this Barot chap was going to bomb London and New York.

Important to remember this guy was arrested two years ago and this story is just related to the current court case.

Okay let's ask a different question;

What exactly is -

Quote:
Biggest bomb plot in British history

Detail the plot?

Well judging by the coverage, it would appear that muslims having nail polish and baby milk in their cupboards, based on prointel "evidence" from an offshoot of western intel.

Certainly far more incriminating than a rocket launcher in the eyes of some morons.

It's far too soon for them to start intimating to middle england that terrorlaws were applicable to middle class whites too.

They need to maintain the illusion, through their control of the media and thus the fake left right paradigm to lure people into demanding their rights are taken to 'stop the muslims.'

Monday 12th Febraury was the provisional date set for the trial of Robert Cottage and David Bolus Jackson, the 2 guys caught with the 'biggest haul of bomb maing chemicals ever found in the uk'

Their arrest and the subsequent media non-event was the event that finally made me realise how spun the media has become. Will their trial be reported, or will the kidnap plot arrests stay on the front page? I know what my money's on.

Please will people in lancashire please keep their eyes and ears open for local reports.

BNP candidate faces explosives trial
http://www.socialistworker.co.uk/article.php?article_id=10687

by Charlie Kimber

What ought to be a high-profile trial concerning explosives and a massive haul of chemicals begins tomorrow (Monday). It will be interesting to see how the media handle it.

David Jackson, 62, of Trent Road, Nelson, is charged with possessing an explosive substance for an unlawful purpose. He is charged alongside 49-year-old Robert Cottage, of Talbot Street, Colne.

The pair are set to appear before Mr Justice Beatson at Manchester Crown Court.

Police found rocket launchers, chemicals, British National Party literature and a nuclear or biological suit at Jackson’s home last October.

This came shortly after the force recovered 22 chemical components from Cottage’s home.

The haul is thought to be the largest ever found at a house in Britain.

Cottage stood as a BNP candidate in local elections at Colne last May.

A FORMER British National Party election candidate and a dentist face trial today accused of conspiring to cause an explosion.

Robert Cottage, 49, of Talbot Street, Colne, Lancashire, and David Jackson, 62, of Trent Road, Nelson, Lancashire, were charged under the Explosive Substances Act 1883 after chemical components were allegedly found at Cottage's house last September.

Both men deny conspiracy to cause an explosion with intent to harm life or property and possession of an explosive substance for an unlawful purpose.

Cottage stood for the BNP in last May's local elections in Colne.

The trial at Manchester Crown Court is expected to last up to 10 days.

I have just emailed the newswatch program - and asked why there is this complete in-balance.

If this was a Muslim I think the it would be top story of the day!!!

Not only that but you can bet that prior to the start of the trial we would have been swamped with exciting stories from 'sources close to the investigation' (read, the police) offering no end of sensational speculation as to the nature of unprecedented terror campaign.

Of course there could be more to this than meets the eye. The defense claim he was stock piling weapons because he believed this country is headed towards civil war.

What I would like to know is, if this is his defense who put such a crazy idea in his head?

Did he dream this up himself or have people hell bent on a strategy of tension (such as the BNP or rogue security service elements) been whispering in his ear?

Is he still a member of the BNP? If not when were his links to the BNP severed and on what grounds? Who is paying his defense costs?

Will the BNP now be declared a terrorist organisation and their leaders imprisoned?

Let's hear what the prosecution think he was going to use these explosives and rocket launchers for, where they were sourced from, who paid and who are these 2 mens associates. Worth following in detail I suggest. The trial is scheduled for 10 days

BNP Candidate Stockpiled Weapons
Posted by david t

The BNP has been trying to position itself as a modern, mainstream, and moderate nationalist party. Those of us who have followed the party, and know its history and ideology, know that this is a lie.

Meet Robert Cottage, who was a BNP candidate in the May 2006 local elections, and is presently on trial in Manchester:

A former BNP candidate stockpiled a cache of weapons and explosives and spoke of his wish to one day shoot the Prime Minister, a court heard today.

Robert Cottage, 49, who stood for the far-Right party in the May 2006 local elections, had convinced himself that Britain was about to be engulfed in a civil war.

As a result he began to gather weapons and buy enough food to last him and his wife, Kerena, four or five years.

In addition to targeting Tony Blair, he spoke of wanting to shoot Lord Greaves, the Liberal Democrat peer.

A jury at Manchester Crown Court heard that the county council driver was arrested after Mrs Cottage, 29, expressed fears about his increasingly radical behaviour.

Police who searched the couple’s terraced home found quantities of 21 different chemicals that in various combinations could be turned into explosives.

They also found large amounts of rice and sugar, both of which can be used in the manufacture of explosives, as well as crossbows, air pistols ball-bearings and canisters filled with petrol.

The BNP might not presently be promoting violence and criminality. However, its leading members imagine themselves to be living in through a millennialist dystopia, reminiscent of the Turner Diaries, in which terminal inter-communal violence is always close to erupting.

All political parties have had their fair share of crooks and nutters, whose aberrant behaviour is typically unconnected to their politics.

Robert Cottage, however, by his own account, does appear to have been living the BNP dream.

i could not believe my ears the b******S linking this sick BNP members actics to 911 truth.

did antone else hear it. i did and so did my fiance.

Yeah!! The media over the past couple of weeks has been driving me mad!!! The letter bomber wasn't labelled a terrorist and now someone who was basically stockpiling chemicals to make bombs with isn't labelled one either! He isn't being charged under the new terror laws. Seems they were only made for muslims, as when a group of muslims allegedly buys chemicals to make bombs with they are charged under terror laws.

Oh isn't this country fantastic sometimes...

Robert Storey, a witness in the case was given "confronting the evidence" by me a number of months ago. He said he had watched it and shown it to others, and they were not convinced.!

http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/display.var.1191194.0.exbnp_candi date_wanted_to_shoot_blair.php

Ex-BNP candidate 'wanted to shoot Blair'
By Sally Henfield

Ex-BNP candidate Robert Cottage who, it is alleged, thought a civil war could break out'
A FORMER BNP candidate stockpiled explosive chemicals, weapons and food because he thought Britain was heading for civil war.

Robert Cottage, 49, admitted possessing explosives because he thought the "political and financial condition of the country" would lead the nation into meltdown.

A court heard yesterday that he and dentist David Jackson, 62, joined forces in a plot to cause an explosion. The pair deny this charge.

And Cottage's wife, who prompted a police invest-igation after telling a social worker he had stored chemicals and crossbows, said her husband wanted to "shoot Prime Minister Tony Blair and Pendle Liberal Democrat peer Lord Tony Greaves".

Manchester Crown Court was told officers searched Cottage's home and found chemicals including amm-onia and gunpowder ingre-dient potassium nitrate.

Prosecuting Louise Blackwell said they also found a nuclear protection suit, air rifles, crosssbows, petrol, gas canisters and recipes' from The Anarchist Cookbook which detailed how to make petrol bombs and grenades.

advertisementThe court was also told Cottage, a BNP candidate for Vivary Bridge ward of Colne in last year's local elections, had gathered enough food to survive for up to five years.

Cottage, who was a minibus driver for Lancashire County Council, had been stockpiling the chemicals, weapons and food at his Talbot Street home in Colne in the event of an attack on his family, the court heard.

Dentist David Jackson is also accused of conspiring to cause an explosion
Cottage's barrister, Alistair Webster, said his client was a former BNP candidate and had been the subject of threats.

Mr Webster said that his client believed the "political and financial condition of the country" would lead to civil war within the coming years.

The barrister said Cottage had intended to use the chemicals to create "thunder fire which would frighten not injure"' people who he thought might be mounting an attack on his home.

He said his client accepted the charge on the basis that the explosives were designed to deter attacks on his property.

Mr Webster said that this premise was not accepted by the prosecution.

Miss Blackwell said Cottage had ordered a large amount of chemicals from the internet after Jackson, of Trent Road, Nelson, drew up an extensive list of dangerous ingredients and gave him a cheque for £400.

Three large boxes of materials were delivered to Cottage's home.

In a statement read to the court his wife Kerena, 29, said her husband had been preparing himself for a civil war and the emergence of a "new world order".

She said: "He kept crossbows and started stockpiling food. He told me we had enough to survive for four to five years."

Mrs Cottage said her husband, who she had known for 10 years, had shown her and his 16-year-old son Alex how to shoot a gun.

She said Cottage, who works as a driver for Lancashire County Council's Travelshare Scheme, transporting disabled children, joined the British National Party four years ago.

Mrs Cottage said: "Rob was becoming very radical in his views and opinions.

"The BNP made my marriage suffer. It drove a wedge between us."

The couple had gone through a trial separation and Mrs Cottage, who the court was told, suffers mental health problems, had gone into respite care.

However, they were reunited at the time chemicals arrived at their home, the court heard.

Mrs Cottage described her husband as "opinionated and religious" adding: "Rob prays to God all the time in his head."

Cottage had also been listening to internet broadcasts about conspiracy theories including that George Bush had known about the 9/11 attack.

The court was told Cottage met Jackson three years ago when Mrs Cottage questioned her husband about the delivery of chemicals in September 2006. She said he told her they belonged to Jackson.

Cottage's elderly mother Barbara, who was called as a prosecution witness, told the jury he was a "good son" who called into her house every day after work.

She admitted he had strong views on illegal immigrants and had told her he wanted to shoot Prime Minister Tony Blair. But she said: "We all say these things"

The jury was shown pictures of stacks of tins of food and large quantities of pasta, rice and sugar.

His mother said: "He was sure that one day there would be upheaval he was making a little store to support his family and other young families in his street."

But in her "honest opinion" he would not harm others.

Fellow BNP member Robert Storey said had met Cottage through the party and had often been to his home to deliver the Voice of Freedom magazine.

He said Cottage was "kind, full of sincerity and goodness."

Police recovered Cottage's computer from his home and found it contained a document entitled The Anarchist Cookbook' which told how to create explosives with bleach along with information on using sugar and rice as explosives.

Defending, Mr Webster pointed out that there was no proof the documents had been read and that access records could have been created by routine computer virus scanners.

Police were unable to thoroughly check Cottage's internet history as a program called Cyberscrub had been used to wipe it out, the court was told.
