Funnily enough, we get convoys of planes flying right over our house quite often. We're smack on a beacon route down towards RAF Yeovilton.
No jelly rain so far, though. I'd hate for that to happen. Don't like jelly at all. And the ol' health is holding up quite well, really.
But of course we're provided with the antidotes by Men in Black Helicopters. oops ... what a giveaway ... how do I edit this ????

Whilst I am loathe to perpetuate a thread of such obvious off-topic subject matter, I feel I must add my view that this is all highly bizarre.
If the 'jelly rain' is a genuine observation and not merely a drug induced flashback to the evening before involving a large tube of KY and that nice man you met at the bus-stop, then please supply some pertinent detail.
When did this actually happen?
Was it a one-off or regular?
What part of the country?
What are the details involving illness and what are your sources of the 'spate of illnesses'?
Describe the jelly, viscosity, amount, colour, did it hang around to be washed away by rain or simply evaporate on its own?
Did it smell?
Were there any reports of dead fish in local rivers?
Are there any other witnesses?
Be aware that yes, there has been a wipe round and a nice badge has been purchased, but you will not get it until said info is supplied.

Whilst i certainly do appreciate the enormous effort that you clearly underwent, and i like the odd verse from time to time, that was i have to say, arse over head rubbish. Damn, and there was me grinning when i read that The Lord was on the topic.

Jelly sparks toxic waste alert
The suspicious substance had been left behind after a wedding party
A pile of jelly left by a road in Germany caused a major security alert after it was mistaken for toxic waste.
A large area near the town of Halle was cordoned off after a "flabby red, orange and green substance" was found by the road, Reuters reported.
Fire officers in protective suits spent two hours inspecting the substance before concluding it was jelly.
"The fire brigade always has to assume a worst-case scenario," a fire brigade spokesman told the news agency.
"We conducted a variety of tests and figured out it was jelly."
The spillage was traced to a wedding party. The newly-wed groom, who was woken up and informed of the alert, promised to clean up the mess. |

The conclusion being, the entire episode was simply made up.

Calm down there me-lad-eo. First off, i didnt come here for the respect of you or anyone else. Sorry if that comes as a shock to you.
Secondly, i do have quite a bit to say on the subject but with the nature of the posts written so far in this thread i really dont see the point in why i should bother spending ages detailing what lots of people over here witnessed just to be slagged some more.

Up until this juncture, I had not actually considered such forums as combative arenas, yet you use the sporting analogy of ‘goal scoring’.
Being more of a toxophilist, I cannot much relate to the parallel drawn, in equal measure, I have never watched a football, rugby or similar team game from commencement to completion. I also note that like your avatar, you tend to champion the underdog which in many ways is admirable.
