If science fiction works best as a metaphor, I'd certainly recommend the new Battlestar Galactica show as being one of the most powerful proponents of that particular theory.
The show has only been mentioned once on these boards, but it's worth pointing out that its probably the most relevant show to reflect today's troubled times. Well worth picking up on DVD and block-watching. |

I thought the last series of 24 where the terrorist attack staging Prez was controlled by a secret cabal was quite daring for mainstream TV.
Plus I love the way Kiefer has to keep shouting 'NOW!' every 90 seconds, each time more urgently than the last. That's acting. |

Amazing that the "Chemtrails" threads get locked but a thread discussing some Sci fi show isn´t.
