|
|
Dear All,
Over the last 2 years, I have written to several celebrities - none have responded.
Publisher of Rory Bremner
Manager of Bob Geldof
Fan Club of Annie Lennox
It is clearly very difficult to get contact addresses for these people, but some fan clubs may have a way of passing letters on (some I have checked explicitly say they cannot, however).
So, if you think of a "good celebrity", google their name with "manager" or "fan club" or "publisher" after it and see where you get to....
Post any thoughts, ideas or results to this thread!!

Geroge Michael would appear to be a good bet as far as I'm concerned. I'll see if I can find out about an address etc.

Boy George would be a good one, I've heard him talkin about current affairs before, and one night I heard him on the radio saying that he'd never support Bliar again after the Invasion of Iraq.

Anyone know where George Galloway stands on this, I know publicly (on his radio show) he sounds unconvinced.

How about contacting journalists - if we were to email and post to 10 from each daily paper perhaps one would listen? Not only newspapers but talk show hosts like James Whale, and even some of the university 'scholars' whose opinion you may listen to on radio or read in papers about security etc. I do think most of them are not corrupt.

Journalists do not make the choices about whether this article or that, is printed; that is for the editor to decide and of course ultimately, the proprietor. There seems to be a fond notion at large that a reporter simply has to come up with an idea for a story for it to be adopted. I have been asked exactly the same question about 9/11. "Well, surely", it goes, "an ambitious young reporter, if what you say is true, would have had such an amazing story splashed across the front page of The Sunday Times?"
