Hardly 'remote' control, the pilot is merely on the aircraft's roof.

Geographically speaking, he is about as far from the pilot's controls as the average viewer is from their TV. And yet do we quibble about 'not remote enough' controls?
We do not. Smile

The concept of remotely piloting an aircraft by definition means the pilot is not actually on the aircraft, hence the plane is controlled remotely = a location different to that of the aircraft.

Whilst I acknowledge the funny side of your post, it is not an example of remote control, the pilot is flying with the plane.

I will ignore the tv remote control analogy.

duh! surely remote-contolled would mean not at the controls - not outside of the plane.

Thanks all.
If it gave a few people a grin on a wet weekend, that's all it was meant for.

Indeed and how would one show a remote piloted aircraft other than that of the picture on offer??

you only have to brainwash someone to fly it and follow your comands, easyier than the technological advances which are available (global hawk eg)
or those which are secret and not available.

Here´s the secret base where space craft are being made.

If you edit your post Bicnarok (is that 'koran' backwards in there?) you should see two sets of image brackets around each URL

[img] URL [\img]

so just delete one set of them.

And you coulda used Samson and Goliath at the Belfast shipyard up the road from me and had two of them big mofo's in one photo.
A starship deserves no less Smile

theres no URl link in my post, I attached the image from my pc., ah just managed to get rid of one in the attachment box:)
Its not meant to be koran backwards, just part of "ragnarok" with bic added to it.
And before you ask about my avatar, no its not another version of the allseeing eye. This is the left eye.

Whats samson and golaith, ships?

Oh - I didn't even know we could do that - I went and set up a photobucket account to post pics through.

Samson and Goliath are these big cranes, visible for miles around.

That's the only problem - some links don't seem to work right. Fixed it now. Yep - a long climb alright. You woudn't want to get up their and find you forgot your lunch or flask or anything!
