After discussions with two of the London 9/11 organisers, (one being the contributor of the article mentioned below) about the surely, misinformation that appears in campaigning articles section, I have been told to check the facts with William Rodriguez. It claims that William Rodriguez should have been at work at 8.30am but arrived half an hour late. This same piece is repeated continually if searched on google "William Rodriguez arrived late to work".
The article that appears of this site is listed as been approved by committee. Can it be that the committee failed to remember that the first plane hit at 8.46am?
If you continue to read below one "journalist" claimed to have interviewed William Rodriguez but still claims that he arrived late for work at 9.00am.
THE MIRACLE
It’s a miracle that Rodriguez, 44, who worked at the WTC for 20 years, is even alive. Usually arriving to work at 8:30am, the morning of 9/11 he reported 30 minutes late. If he’d arrived on time, it would have put him at the top floors just about the same time the jetliner hit the north tower.

Instead of arriving at 8.00 am and enjoying his customary breakfast on the one hundred and tenth floor with the many Latino workers of Windows on the World restaurant, he arrived 30 minutes late and was in the basement talking with his supervisor….

This past week I had the great pleasure of meeting William Rodriquez, a humble man from Puerto Rico who worked at the World Trade Center.
William had worked for the New York Port Authority for about twenty years. He was in charge of the three stairwells - A, B and C. His job included the maintenance of the three narrow stairwells in the class "A" building - WTC1, the north tower. Arriving at 8:30 on the morning of 9-11 he went to the maintenance office located on the first sublevel, one of six sub-basements beneath ground level.

I posted a message (PM) to you about this. Greg Zymanski's article said William Rodriguez's NORMAL arrival time was 8am - so when half hour late, he arrived at 8:30:

Yes, thank you for the mail Andrew, I did appreciate it but my point was this and it is not entirely the fault of this site, incorrect information that should be questioned is being reproduced time and again. I know, as you said that people do not do this professionally and mistakes will be made but the author of this article Astro3 is not prepared to alter the document, the one and only document that appears in the section without confirmation from William Rodriguez, whom I did attempt to make contact with last night.
This is supposed to be the Truth Movement, we have to do our best to be as accurate as possible with the information we provide, not always a simple task granted. If anybody new to the group were to look at that document they would think hang on a minute, this is an approved document and it appears to be providing misinformation, they could not take what is on this site seriously.
I know it is a minor problem and I appear to be making a big fuss, I am not trying to be petty but this reproduction of misinformation is something that we all have to be vigilant for. |

I have read a few interpretations of Mr. Rodriguez's account which suggest that the transmission of sound through the building and the vibrations etc would not necessarily correspond to our intuitive perceptions...
ie, to cut to the chase - maybe he got it wrong ...
It would be interesting to hear some other eye witness descriptions of that moment.
It seems clear that the explosion emanated out of the freight elevator - this fits the official story except for the timing aspect.
I've written more on this page (elevator shaft diagrams etc):
