| Maybe I'm paranoidal or suffering delusions of grandeur but I swear I've had 'copper choppers' on several occasions circling round above my house my house in the middle of the night, 200 ft I estimate. Anyone else experienced this? How long do you give the internet? |

All,
I`ve had several police helicopters circling my house at low alt. recently; however I live near Cowley road in Oxford so to be honest it doesnt surprise me one bit and I`m not going to read anything into it.
I wouldnt worry about the net; if "they" could have shut it down or censored it effectively they would have, years ago.

It would be interesting to know where you live, Sheriton. I experience the same, but living in an area of inner London which is somewhat notorious for gangs, crack cocaine dealing and gun crime, I do not think it has anything to do with what I write on the net.
If the PTB wanted to take exception to what I write, I would expect a knock on the door in the night and to have my puter confiscated.
Watch out for kiddie porn though. I gather that can easily be put on your puter without your knowledge and subsequently used against you.
Nevertheless I do think there is a grave danger of the PTB controlling the Internet. They do it in China. They could easily do it elsewhere.

No ex-drunk ex-communist punchy bullyboy is going to make me change my whole attitude towards free thought and speech, nor my current views on the lies of our politicians regarding 9/11, my extreme suspicions about 7/7, the reasons Blair gave to go to war, this so called 'war on terror' (hoax that I am convinced it is), the restrictions and curtailments of our rights and freedoms, so Reid and his fellow cronies can f*ck off as far as I am concerned.
If they can prove to me that they have not spouted lies, then my attitude would change, but, and this is where these despicable people go so wrong, do my views make me a terrorist? No, and that is why the whole thing, including the latest 10/08 idiocy which Reid had been waxing lyrical about and which itself is a complete scam, is why these politicians must be made accountable.
See Reid's article below, do we really want him to be Prime Minister of this once great country?

Not surprising as we are kicking their butts in the propaganda war. 'It is error alone which needs the support of government. Truth can stand by itself.'
Does anyone have any idea how they are planning to do this so we can oppose it, or are they just going to invoke something passed years ago at 3 in the morning? |

My son was round at a friend's house when they were about 9. They were making prank calls together, having a bit of a laugh as you do at that age, when suddenly a police helicopter started circling overhead. Scared witless, the two kids dived under the bed; apparently the last person they'd called (because he had a silly name) had threatened to call the police!
My son was convinced for weeks the helicopter had been after them...and needless to say he never did it again. Lets hope none of this paranoia here interferes with the campaign.

Was this country once great? It once acquired vast territories all over the world through the same kind of skulduggery that the US is currently using to extend its empire. Britain doesn't seem to have lost that habit but is aiding and abetting the US in doing so through a policy of lies, intimidation and warfare. That is not greatness in my book.
Nevertheless, certain aspects of British history could be accounted great: achievements in literature, science, philosophy, engineering, the arts, the law and yes even representative democracy. |
