As a summary, David Rifkin (a former legal adviser to the Whitehouse) says that (paraphrase) "the instances of torture are nowhere near as bad as what happened in the 2nd world war, so why is everyone making a fuss?"

The US/Iraq Amabassador Dr Zalmay Khalilzad seemed to just waffle for about 3 mins - I can't even remember what he said! He didn't seem worried about it anyway!
