I believe kiddie porn can easily be put on anyone's computer without their knowledge. I don't know how we can protect ourselves against such a ploy.

And it seemed SO plausible that child porn would be found on the guy's computer straight after he was wrongfully gunned down. How convenient for the government and police that the story surfaced when it did (along with media circus surrounding the cost of the hotel the family were temporarily housed in.)
So predictable......

Full marks to this community for calling this as it was right from the start. the only thing, IMO, which has saved this fella from a heinous fitting up is there is still some integrity left amongst the judiciary. Won't matter a damn when habeus corpus is gone though. Of course the language of the press reporting is ambigous enough not to point the finger where it really belongs: good old Psy-Op. No doubt the kind of minds we have down in critics corner will think this means "oh there wasnt enough evidance to confirm he downloaded it": blind trust in authority and all that. Of course, the damage is still done in playing the "islam peadophilia" card, but i'm thankfull for small mercies that this couldnt be made to stick

It would be nice if all the tabloids who made such a song and dance about the child pornography at the time could make amends. Chance would be a fine thing, eh?

I saw that Guardian article too and wondered if anyone concerned would ever care to explain just how the child porn allegations arose in the first place. Again, chance would be a fine thing.
