There is naturally a little overlap since we have similar interests but no, 'they' are independent of 'us' and visa versa

Why should they be independent?

I am registered with julyseventh as well (but more of a lurker). Fantastic website. It is many times more detailed with the pinned threads.

I say the mods on this forum have something to learn.

Well... its easy to criticise. Who would offer themselves to actively help this site, rather than criticise?

Anyone able to give up their hours a day to support this site?
Its not easy being a mod/admin. We should not complain about something that you are getting for free.

However yes... perhaps they can learn from it. Its not asking too much perhaps.

I recently joined the MPAC forums, just to use it to advertise 911 Truth more on it. On that forum, you need to be activated by a mod, not self activated. Then, once activated you can not post anywhere, until you have posted an 'introductory thread' about yourself to everyone else on the forum in the 'Introductions' Forum. Then after that are you allowed to post elsewhere.

This would be nice, as it will stop time wasters and also, with everyone introducing themselves to everyone else first, helps build much more of a community feel. I dont know how they did it however, I dont know all the ins and outs of how forums work.

As from now there is no need to sign up to view most of the forum:
http://z13.invisionfree.com/julyseventh/index.php?

The bit you cannot see, unless you join up, is the "J7 Community Activists Discussions" which contains the new members area and a few other things.
