Why was telecasterisation banned from this forum?

where I agree with you is that the public face of this campaign and the nature of this forum needs revisiting and refocusing. These issues are being discussed and will be the focus of a meeting in February. Anyone who wants to feed their ideas into to me (beyond the ideas people have already fed in) feel free to contact me. Apologies to those who i owe a phone call to.

In the meanwhile, apologies to all for the short-comings of the forum. It is not so much that the need for change is not recognised as reaching common ground on how best to rework both the forum and the campaign. What with other things, you know, family, work and the need to take a break every now and again, this is taking longer than I'd hoped but hope all of us who recognise the need for a new inquiry will recognise what we have in common and stay positive.

ian - thankyou for addressing my post. it is constructive pragmatic and non blinkered members of this forum and movement like yourself that will give this whole thing a future

blindly following and ignoring all the 'bad stuff' like pikey does will do nothing. The guy probably thinks i hate him - but i think he's a good guy with a good heart, but he is out of place in the paradigm of cold political reality. That is the arena of this campaign whether you like it or not. Living a utopian lie has so far damaged this 'group' and it needs to sort out its focus badly.

idealism should never be abandoned, but we inhabit a 5 sense paradigm for the most part and live our lives in it for the most part so therefore idealism must be balanced, structured and tempered to accommodate our shared 'reality' despite our private spiritual, idealistic or otherwise tendencies.

i look forward to your progress and value the time you spend on this campaign. All my criticism is constructive and with good intention despite certain readers just seeing the critique without the message. Negativity is not my intention - a massive kick up the arse to put it bluntly is...why...? ...because i care. If that is not a good enough reason for pikey and others to read my criticism with validity then they are deluded.

Yes, my account has been reinstated.

I would just like to offer my thanks to everyone who fought my corner. Even those who blatantly wanted to see the back of me, at least you had an opinion and that is what being here is all about.

Upon reflection, there were occasions where I possibly overstepped the mark without realising the impact my words were having and if I offended anyone, then I sincerely apologise (except to blackcat obviously).

But that is not the point now;

This whole episode has left a nasty taste and consequently this will be my final post here. There was a principle at stake more than anything else and although it was seen that I was 'bleating', it was far more a cry to get a rather ramshackle house in order. Hopefully, with a more structured and understood framework of admin procedures, this will not happen again.

Perhaps other cases of recent bans might be reconsidered, a complete amnesty although major offenders accept one dodgy post and they are gone?

Anyway, thanks again, I really enjoyed my time here.

I suspect it was the avatar I hated most - such a smug BB face. Same with Patrick - I find that avatar repugnant and creepy I hate him for it

Yes indeed Bill did have a "smug git" expression in that pic, but on the other hand I love Bill Bailey so there you go.

As for the rabbit, I`ve often wondered where you got the pic from and if the little critter is based on some sort of cartoon character or just a ramdom. He reminds me a little of the freaky rabbit in Donnie Darko.

I think changing your avatar is a personal matter but I wouldnt.....
