This is a funny one, as you won't find the story screamed at you by CNN, Fox, even a struggle to find it on the Beeb, but it is there somewhere.
Just imagine if it were some "rogue state" - they'd be going mental and we wouldn't hear the last of it.
There's loads of articles on this, and apparently it's openly reported in Israel, so maybe just google "israeli president rape charge" it and take your pick of what you want to read.

They carried this on the excerable 5 live. The girlie on drive was quite taken aback by reports that the defendent swore to clear his name even if it meant World War Three.
