In response to the threat of a bird flu epidemic, President Bush is preparing a nuclear strike on the Canary Islands.

Residents of these islands (or anwhere else with a 'bird name') are advised to leave immediately for their own safety.

It's supposed to be a joke. Although with George Bush it can be hard to tell the difference!!
