Sorry about the quality and the fact it's on it's side! If it's too bad for you I'll re-photograph it.

Nah (or should that be 'bah') - can't read it. Which issue is it in? If it's the latest I'll buy a copy! Thanks for the info tho' - just hope it's better than South Park's disappointing offering!

Great ending: Viz is way to predictable but do this particular type of insanity very well

Some Hollywood counterpoints to the Viz ridicule.
Question: Why has the 911 motif featured so frequently in movies ?

Black & White
Black Bag was essential for those of us brought up on DC Thomson. I still think Viz is brilliant in concept & execution. Never having seen Grassy before I am well impressed with the work that goes into making the cartoon - not just the 'Dirk Gently' interconnectedness of everything (it requires a lateral mind to readily come up with that stuff) but also with the authentic conspiracy research. Knollington shows how you can easily create false connections to hide or ridicule true ones.
Who here has not absorbed the Viz meme and rejected the 'ideal' lifestyle portrayed by DC Thomson's benign characters? Viz was and is a HUGE influence on UK counter-culture IMO. Sacred cows taken to task - who can resist a smirk at that? Pomposity gets it's comeuppance!

Reading thru the marvellous list of spoof characters we find much amusing reference to sex, anal fixation, and, oddly, Christianity. One cartoon even manages to combine all of these....

So far I have read, or read the synopsis of, four Grassy stories

and the two already posted on nineeleven
No mention of the Rothschilds so far.
Which got me thinking

I missed the rice pudding plot before and I haven't seen Viz for years and years.
It makes me laugh, which is good.
If only the same effort was put into spreading facts about what is going on instead of anaesthetising the minds of those that read this stuff.
If you've read it, heard it or watched it in a movie somewhere before then it can't be real can it.

What a load of tired old cliches, Private Eye won't even parody the 9/11 truth, I remember when they were fearless!

No. You remember when you THOUGHT they were fearless.

I have to admit... Grassy Knollington cracks me up!
VIZ seems to do more research into the stuff than 99% of the rest of the media. There's a very nice touch in the strip posted above too... although I'm sure few will have noticed it, the last frame is a parody of the Oswald shooting
