Just out of interest there is something I would like to know. On my website I am able to find out where all, if not the majority of the people who are looking at my site came from or at least who reffered them to my site.
I was wondering especially with regards to the BBC story that has just come out.... exactly where abouts are the people who are looking at the story coming from? As it does seem to have a very high volume of views in a very short space of time. I know on Guido Fawkes he has a list of how many hits he gets from the bbc etc...
Would be good to know.

Have a look at the referrers in your site's web stats. Check your site provider web pages for details on how to set up web stats.

Shouldnt this go in the suggestions area?
Is it just me or has there been an influx of shady new threads bombarding this forum? Nothing is really thoroughly discussed and issues that logically should be connected are fragmented. A great strategy for dispersing the people methinks..... _________________ www.freecycle.org

The nature of the forum has changed over time and there has been an influx of new users.
Also some people do have an annoying habit of starting a new thread when one already exists and this does fragment discussions.
I doubt whether this is a deliberate tactic in most cases but persistent offenders will be warned and the mods appreciate any 'heads up' from other users on people they consider to be deliberately disrupting the forum. Although users should notify mods of the specific concerns about specific users by PM since we wish to discourage threads and posts along the lines of such and such a person is a shill |
