| i think it was the classic, hide hope the thread goes away and then when everyones forgot about it start posting again, thus avoiding tricky questions or having to admit you were wrong. |

Answers
1) Oxygen does not burn. I don't know about oxegen though....
2) Indoor fıres on 911 obvıously caused structural faılure because of the ıntense heat. Never harmed my log burnıng stove though...
May I ask you what ıs your fırst language?

well....... that depends on how you see it and what you mean by "burn"
if you mean that sparking a pure oxygen environment will do nothing then you are correct.
but then again sparking a pure nitrogen environment will also do nothing. (there's nothing for it to react with)
mix the two together and it of course will "burn". but would it be correct to say that the hydrogen burns and the oxygen doesn't? and why would that be so?
would it not in fact be more accurate that both as a mixture burn? |

You can't oxıdıze oxygen*. Hydrogen burns ın aır. Aır doesn't burn ın hydrogen.
*Unless you count the reactıon between O2 and free radıcal O. to form Ozone

a place where there is added oxygen will burn hotter and faster than any other place (a house for example with no added oxygin will burn normally, while a casino with added oxygen will burn faster and hotter)

i can't believe the motive angle is still under debate really..
i mean the PNAC documents clearly state that a pearl harbor type event is needed to justify PNACs desire for a military build up and more agressive foreign policy.
even Bill Kristol admits, on video, that members of PNAC wanted more focus on developing a larger military. and that wasn't 'democratically' possible without an attack on america.
