I read in my local "Green Events" mag that on 1 April (no this is not an April fool) MacDonalds launch their new "McOrganic" range of "environment-friendly veggie meals" with a launch party in its Oxford Street branch with guest speakers including George Monbiot...
Being paid by the corporates now. Whose agenda does he really work for I wonder? |

Well, no doubt good old George has studiously examined the E-numbers content in this McCrap, and decided that despite probably containing the standard quotient of MSG ( that which makes feasces taste like chicken dinner) it must be good for us all.
But then again, does he even know what msg is ?
And lets face it, George needs all the friends he can get just now |

Most Oxbridge graduates enter the periphery of the SWP. gain 'left' credentials are promoted by the media indirectly and then supports the OCT regarding terrorism, the environmental con for more taxes and finally promoting McDonalds.
If this wasn't organised from the beginning with an agenda then nothing surely is.
Soon he will promoting the Californian governor in a new Brown govt.
Whichever way you look at it Oxbridge always looks West. |

What a great opportunity to let Monbiot know our thoughts. anyone know what time this is? I will present him with DRG's response to his column. _________________ "We will have to repent in this generation not merely for the vitriolic words and actions of the bad people, but for the appalling silence of the good people.” Martin Luther King |

Yes I'm sure this is not an April Fools joke. Wave magazine does not do April Fools.
I thought of contacting MaccyD's re the time of the event. Somewhat tellingly, the official McDonalds website doesn't give you anything more than an online email comments form under the 'contact us' tab. Seems to me like they don't want to be contacted! How about telephoning Wave magazine, ask them.... |

theres an 'environmental' combination.
Both have as much connection with the environment as Bush has with philospophy.
Its a theatrical game to promote the corporations and not just any corporations but the one that spent millions defending itself against allegations by two real green activists who dared to criticise gods representative of burgers on earth... |

I note that the original text (not fully quoted) says, '...with guest speakers including Zac Goldsmith and George Monbiot.'
George Monbiot might be an enemy of the 9/11 Truth Movement but I think any reader of The Ecologist might have rumbled this. |

Can't we challenge Monbiot to a public debate about the 9/11 truth? something like the Hitchins/Gorgeous George' head to head on the Iraq invasion and occupation. Maybe Doctor Griffin would be interested, is there anyone better informed than him re. the 9/11 truth? |
