A fantastic critique of the Bush Administration, with George W. Bush present.

Stephen Colbert is the man.

Utter disbelief! Laughing Who gave that guy 15 minutes to talk?!?

The speach part was just like an episode of the Today Show, but with hardly anyone laughing! - By my standards that was a pretty tame telling off considering what this administration has done but for an audience like that it was severe.

Forget the 5 min film bit - I wanted him to keep going. I wish someone releases footage of bush's face through the speach! That would be so interesting to see how well he managed to hold it together.

It was very interesting indeed, and I totally concur with you about getting to see Bush's face.

Weird thing is, I recently knocked together a blog post which detailed the 'goldfish mentality' of people when it came to recognising the 9/11 issue.

See it at :-

Finding this vid was basically a consequence of writing that entry.

this is brilliant!

they can't tell when he's being sarcastic and when he's being serious!!

bush even shakes his hand!

the sad thing is.. he won't really change anything. it is satisfying to see bush and co. looking a bit scared and confused tho

This was Colbert too, interviewing PNAC signatory Bill Kristol:

hahaha, my prayers have been answered (partly)

http://prisonplanet.com/articles/may2006/050506Reaction.htm

Shame it only covers the film part and not the begining which was far more damning, and funnier for that matter -- still, that is not the image of a comfortable man ... from his facial expressions I get the impression he's feeling a mixture of fury at the unusual level of critiscism which burst his otherwise all-supportive bubble, and a hint of boredom ... probably thinking about playing with his toy soldiers at home
