What is the best audio/visual media for campaigning?

Hi all,

Question 1:

If we were to put together a fundraising DVD with a concise, short and clear montage of scenes from existing 9/11 films, which topics would you cover and which scenes from which films would you include?

The key audience is someone who has never even suspected there could be anything wrong with the official audience (so simple is best).

For example:

Pre-Warnings

Put options

NORAD failure

WTC Tower collapses

WTC7 collapse

Pentagon

The NEED to uncover the truth about 9/11

Response to 9/11 truth.

And so on, which of these areas would you consider most important?

Would you add any?

Which media would be best for each?

Question 2

If we were to include a feature length doc. on the DVD, which would you chose?

I'll start this one off- in my personal opinion it would be a flip of a coin between "Oil, Smoke and Mirrors" and "Press for Truth"

I think you first have to establish the case as to why 9/11 is relevant to people in the UK.

Then go through the legislation that has been introduced on the back of 9/11 for our "own protection". The Terrism Acts (Particulary Section 44) SOCPA etc.

Get people to understand it affects THEIR lives. Then, and only then, go into detail.

I wouldn't even use 9/11 in the title of you DVD. Appeal to peoples' sense of freedom and fairplay. (If it still exists)

I should note though- I'm not a film maker and am not trying to make a film. I was really looking for specific scenes or clips from existing films for a simple montage.

I agree that WHY 9/11 is important should focus heavily.

But what scene (or scenes) from which *existing* film do you think sums this up the best?

For instance, off the top of my head the July 7th film "Ludicrous Diversion" has a succint film highlighting the new laws.

Ideally I want a scene or clip from an existing scene for each important area, making a montage no more than 15 minutes long (preferrably shorter) and then include a feature length film on it as well.

These are my favourite films about WTC7 - one is just 3.27 minutes long, the other 13 or 16 mins depending on which version - I've only seen the 13 min version.

What I'm looking for is to make very soon is a high impact montage fundraising reel. Maximum 15 minutes, much better if it was under 10.

So what suggestions I am looking for is, say you think WTC7 is important, which most would agree it is, which film covers this best for you? Then we would take a short clip of that. If you think the theft of freedoms is important, which part of which film best and most dynamically summs up that area?

The idea is this will be sent out as a fundraising DVD, I'm going to start this ASAP, so this is everyone's last chance to make suggestions.

Just couldn't see a more sensible place to post my question, not trying to hijack your thread.

In response: The release of only 5 frames of video at the Pentagon. If these videos were released in the entirety I feel they would prove this one way or another. Same with 7/7. Same with Diana.

No sensible hole, No engines, no collision marks... no marks on the lawn.
Its obvious garbage.

I think the Pentagon is more conclusive for quick showing.

Main trouble I see is 9/11 relevance to people in the UK. Maybe the concentration should be on 'Troops Home', and why they were officially sent.
