An Israeli aircraft has bombed a building of the Hamas-run Executive Force in Gaza, killing at least one person and injuring about 45 others.

It wont end any time soon
But apartheid ended in south africa so it can one day end in Israel too.
We must all boycott companies that support the regime.
Such as Marks and Spencers which buys 200 million pounds worth of goods made in Israel each year. We must also boycott Israeli produce such as roses on Valentines day and fruits etc which usually use palestinian slave labour.
So boycott all Israeli products and that is a start to ending the carnage.
Second thing is your local MP, write or visit them and ask them to publically oppose Israel or you will not vote for them again ever.
Dont forget the British Labour party created Israel in 1948

Do you try to pin everything on Labour? I think some Israelis had a hand in it too, and it wasn't the Labour party which signed the Balfour Declaration thirty years earlier committing the British to establishing a Jewish homeland in Palestine. The Labour government was left holding the baby - that is the reality. |

Didn't Israel set up Hamas or fund them or something?
They get their inside men to fire a few rockets or set it up and use that as an excuse to take out someone else they really don't like?
Or am I completely mistaken. |

Not at all
Israel funded and protected Yasser Arafat who is part of the FATAH group.
He was Israel's number one agent and held the palestinian people in check for forty years. He was NEVER elected.
HAMMAS is hated by Israel who kill all it's ELECTED leaders.
In fact Israel is pushing it's proxy fatah to get rid of hammas in a civil war.
The palestinian people know fatah is bad and hammas is good.

Agree wholeheartedly with the first sentiment but disagree just as fully with the second. You've mightily missed the point here Stelios.
What happened in 1948 was the culmination of decades of terrorism and political pressure from the immenslely wealthy Zionist lobby. Yesterday I saw for the first time the tomb of:-

Benny Morris (the Israeli Historian), described how Herzl foresaw how anti-Semitism could be "HARNESSED" for the realization of Zionism. He stated:
"Herzl regarded Zionism's triumph as inevitable, not only because life in Europe was ever more untenable for Jews, but also because it was in Europe's interests to rid the Jews and relieved of anti-Semitism: The European political establishment would eventually be persuaded to promote Zionism. Herzl recognized that anti-Semitism would be HARNESSED to his own--Zionist-purposes." (Righteous Victims, p. 21)

Israel did fund Hamas in its early days (link).
Hamas got voted in because it wasn't corrupt and it actually did things to help the ordinary Palestinian people, but in its early days Israel funded it in order to destabilise Fatah and Arafat. And to this day Israel is able to play the one off against the other. |
