It's a mystery - but maybe it's the way the question's been framed.
After all, according to one authority, the towers didn't collapse - they were dustified. And nothing fell down - except maybe a few pennies on somebody's windowsill.
On second thoughts, that doesn't clarify anything at all.

Wouldn't the view that they fell 'in the wrong order' only apply if everything was completely equal?;
The points of impact would have to be identical, the amount of fuel that exploded inside the building, impact speed and weight of aircraft - in fact to say that there is an expected order of events is like a surgeon saying he can accurately predict who will die first out of two victims with similar injuries.
My (laymans guesswork) take on why the towers fell in the order they did is that some of the steel cutting material started leaking out of the hole in the south tower; people wern't supposed to be able to see it and the rest was going on internally.
A descision had to be made fast and they chose to scrap the plan and start the second demolition first in the hope no one had filmed it yet (which it turns out they had) and before anyone might (bad luck boys).
Just a guess but it seems pretty logical. _________________
My little film was not supposed to be a serious piece of 9/11 evidence - as I said, it was something about which I have often wondered. Then I remembered the classic Only Fools and Horses episode and thought that maybe they just screwed up big time. I mean, even five and a half years later I have to rely on mnemonics to remember which flight (or supposed flight) hit which tower or other target and when. For the first few days I had assumed that it was North, South; North, South and was a little surprised to find out otherwise.
So, please don't treat this as a serious suggestion for investigation. Like it says at the end, '...just a thought!'
