Hello everyone. I hope that you are all well. As some of you know i am currently making a feature length film about the Truth movement. I have recently returned from Ireland filming Morgan Stack running in the local elections and i'd like to take this oppurtinity to congratulate him. He has truly been carrying out some innovative activism all on his own and pretty much flying the flag of 9/11 truth single handedly in Ireland. If you follow the link at the bottom of the page you can see some of the scenes at speakers corner that i couldnt quite fit into the film but are very interesting to see the audience reation to some of these ideas as the flm is part documentary part fiction
The film follows a young boy who travels o speakers corner and encounters many strange views of the world it is also the first time he is exposed to the views of the truth movement and the idea of False Flag terrorism. It is very interesting to watch if only fo the reaction of the real people n the film to the views of Nelson who is talking about 9/11 truth issues. Once again if any of you would like to screen the film at any events i would be happy to send you the full film on DVD. it was shot on HDV which is somewhat lost on the internet but would look great if screened properly. Ok well watch enjoy and post up here waht you think

I`d say it`s very professionally filmed and edited, but the character the actor plays at speakers corner wasnt exactly a shining example of coherent public 9/11 speaking....perhaps that was part of the idea I dont know.

As far as the filming goes very well done though.

I aknowledge that critisism. at the time that i created the character and made this film. I really wasnt aware that a 9/11 truth movement in the uk even existed. I had just seen some films myself and come around to the ideas and created a character based upon someone who had felt compelled to speak out. He is a fictional character and is therfore slightly larger than life but i do think that in hindsight after meeting so many truthers in this country the character would have been different . at the time i was still conforming to the stereo type of the 'conspiracy theorist' which i would do differnetly now. but i will also note that Nelson type characters definately do exist in this movement. Also the end scene i shot months later and i tried to make him more realistic at that point

Oh make no mistake there are PLENTY of people who would put anyone off FAR more than his character!!!

I would just (I hope anyway) that that representation is not representative.

I agree the film is very well made. I think it portrays 9-11 truthers in a negative way though so I don't understand why you are plugging it.

The reason that I made the film was to make an entertaining little story and introduce people to the idea of false falg terrorism. I dont think it portrays trthers in a negative way. he comes across well when talking to the younger character I agree that the chracter could be more realistic though

You did make an entertaining film and it's good you introduced those ideas. When something comes from the mouth of someone so angry and incoherent though people don't tend to react well to what they are saying though. Sorry to criticise. It's a great piece!

Great little movie, Dean, and so glad you didn't portray the Truth movement in a clean marketable way. So many people seem to want to obey advertising standards, but realisation can seep in in a myriad ways rather than by the focus group standard, which to my mind is totally repellant

Well reminded, the speakers corner thing had slipped my mind after a couple of rainy weekends and the hecticness of the 9/11- Separating Facts from Fiction event and parliament protest organisation.

John, do you fancy coming down to London and hitting speakers corner with a few of us one weekend soon?

We have Mohsin who's done this before and does a really, really good speech on a lihop platform, talking about PNAC and so on, our plan is to move on and go in turns making the information more complex,
so perhaps you could follow Mohsin with info on the flaws in the reports, then Norad could come up, then put options, then WTC7.

Believe me with the crowd in speakers corner, you don't want to be hitting any of the complex stuff (forget CD of the towers, you saw what kind of a ride spidermans actor got on that one) unless you have an engineering degree to shut people up with.

Me, Andy and Mykal are all up for this, although its got a little lost in a stream of other activities latley. If you are up for it, name a Sunday you can do and we'll do it then.

As far as promotional use - well it could be filmed independantly but what spiderman films is for his documentray I know he doesn't like the idea of half the film being on youtube before he's even released it.

Just checked out your film Dean and I think it was very well made and a nice opener to the subject. A longer version as others have suggested would be a good idea perhaps with the lad following up on the research and reaching the same conclusion.

I also think its great how this has triggered off so many people into organising more events at SC. Good luck with it and I look forward to the results.
