It depends what counts as proof

Scientific proof that is accepted by scientific peer review does not exist since these technologies challenge or stretch existing scientific understanding. But if acceptance by the scientific community was the test, many previous claims extraordinary in their time but now part of accepted mainstream science would not have been 'proven'.

Indeed. The whole over-unity/quantum field energy issue highlights the wider issues involved in researching this area. We know there are transport mechanisms of some sort that utilise these sources but getting one to place in front of people is not an easy path. The same is true of much in this field... but I think it is better to investigate and contribute than sit on the sidelines and make constant demands for tangible 'proof'. When you spend a fair bit of time looking a lot of it is 'there'.

Proof, as truth, is a pretty relative term. No-one here witnessed the H-Bomb in Japan going off but we all collectively accept it occurred and this field is an extension of that process.

As Ian says - in academia/science - the peer review process is considered sufficient to agree that something is "real" or worthy of further exploration. I laughed so much at Rodin's post because of course numerous people have been sent to jail [or death!] on WITNESS testimony. This idea that the Disclosure Project should be dismissed as it is "a load of talking heads" is simply absurd... if you take this further the whole legal system is screwed and more to the point how we, as a society communicate is screwed. None of us demand to see/feel/touch everything in life to validate it do we? If we did we'd process information and experience at a snails pace.

There are articles/presentations which cover 'off planet' technology having been analysed but I've found going down this route doesn't help much - as someone once told me - "you can't convince people with facts.." - this is of course ironically true! Instead you need to pull in data from all sorts of areas.

Although most things are out there to be found - there's also the problem that much of the evidence has been removed by military/intel structures - so of course we don't have a full picture in many respects. There is a validated testimony that a group linked [historically] to Tesla approached General Motors in the 1950s and offered to develop floating cars for them. They had these systems working and ready to go. They were told by the GM manager that if they got these vehicles working - they would be shot down. They were left with no doubt that the military and GM had close ties of course. Shortly after this - the organisation was raided and all kit confiscated... they were told they had to terminate due to 'threats to the international monetary system'. Note that this was in the 50s.
