Too many boards on here?

I reckon there is far too many forums on this site and it sucks the life out of it. What does everyone else think? It divides discussion. It's a bit like having four or five parties going on in seperate rooms in the same house. It hinders any brainstorming and creative connections that may evolve when topics that are posted are visible on the same screen.
