May i request that posters add or post requests for the ever growing abbreviations, a friend came round the other day, and was asking what does OCT, what does IMHO mean etc.
If one is a relative newcomer the abbreviations can be rather confusing and not everyone will request what they mean.
A few of the top of my head are.
OCT = Official conspiracy theory.
IMHO = In My Humble Opinion.
MSM = Mainstream Media.
Can somebody post what PTB means please, i keep seeing it and havant asked what it means.
For people new to the 9/11 subject these abbreviations can be daunting, also for new computer users, computer illiterates, even the IMHO abbreviation can seem like a foreign language.
Thanks in advance. |

Thoroughly endorse the need to avoid abbreviations in order to be understood widely. Of course, if you don't want to be understood but just want to show-off that you know lots of abbreviations, no need to avoid them.
Each writer needs to develop a sense of audience (who do you want to be understood by and what kind of language will they understand?)
But having said all that I am completely baffled by this list:
"UJA (Silverstein, Eisenberg)
IDC (Lauder, Arad)
ICT (Radlauer)
WZO (UJA, WJC)
WJC (Lauder, Herbits, Bronfman)
PANYNJ (Lauder, Silverstein, Lowy, Eisenberg)
CFR (Heinz, Rockefeller, Greenberg, Peterson, Cheney, Hauer, Bremer)
JINSA (Cheney)
Heinz (Heinz Alfred Kissinger, AKA Dr K., AKA Albericht) " |

Then you are clueless as to what happened on September 11, 2001.
Note that the list of abbreviations is not an essay. It is, well..., a list of abbreviations. I cannot spell out every minute detail over and over again for people who are simply unwilling to make use of the vast number of resources I have pulled together for easy access. But here is a bit more hand-holding for you.
UJA (Silverstein, Eisenberg)
UJA Silverstein
UJA Eisenberg
