9/11 Truth at Gay Pride Rally

8 members of the 9/11 Truth Movement attended the Gay Pride Rally yesterday(30th June 07). Noel (Xmasdale), Donna (Kookumula) and her son Isay, David (David WJ Sherlock) and David all from the London Truth Group, along with Caroline and her daughter Michelle and Ann talked to many people and we handed out around four thousand leaflets. Actually I made it eight of us who were there: you, me, Donna (Kookumula), her son, Isay? Caroline, her daughter Michelle, Ann, & David from Belinda's Cognoscence group.

I was very impressed with the number of leaflets we managed to distribute, nearly 4 000. A special thanks goes to Karl (Stelios) for suggesting we do this and taking the initiative on it. Business commitments prevented him from being there on the day. Fran was going to come too, but was prevented by a forum moderators' meeting at her flat.

First prize for effective leafletting technique has to go to Ann. She would go up to people with A5 sized leaflets folded in half and with a broad smile say:
"Here you are, darling!" and thrust a leaflet at them. Few refused such an approach.

I think I could learn much from her technique but theough I might well get away with addressing other men as "Darling" at Pride, in other circumstances I might end up with a black eye.

I tried my usual technique of standing in the middle of the road and handing out leaflets to the demonstrating hoards as they walked past me. But on this occasion there was some pretty agressive stewarding.

"You can't stand there"

"You're not allowed to give out leaflets"

"You can give out leaflets but only if you stand behind the barriers" [so that you can't reach the people walking by]

"Look, if you won't stand behind the barriers I shall have to ask the police to remove you."

After that last remark I saw serried ranks of about 50 uniformed police marching military-fashion towards me.

"Oh my God! Is the 9/11 Truth Campaign considered such a threat to Gay Pride in Blair's Britain that they will go to these lengths to stop me from joining my gay brothers and sisters in asserting our rights?"

Then I read the banner the police were carrying. It read "Gay Police Association" and they were part of the parade.

I did eventually manage to mingle with the moving demonstration and use my normal leafletting techniques which have been successful on Stop the War demos. But this crowd was different. There was a fun carnival atmosphere and many people were dressed up for it in one way or another, and some were hardly dressed at all. Many who were dressed up were far more interested in being seen than in taking leaflets. It was quite a sticky crowd to leaflet. Older people tended to take them. The young ones were very reluctant, perhaps because they don't remember what a struggle it has been to establish gay rights in this country.

But the parade was spectacular with glittering costumes and beautiful floats from all sections of society. The Royal Navy also had a uniformed contingent as did firefighters, and ambulance crews, British Airways flight attendants (masses of them). There was a huge Gay Muslim float, Gay Catholics and Gay Christians.

In Trafalgar Square there was a wide variety of stalls. We were situated next to the Socialist Worker Party who were most friendly and helpful and took lots of our leaflets on their stall. Well! Well! Perhaps the gay Socialist Workers don't follow the party line too closely.

With Graham Norton compering there were a wide variety of musical acts on the stage beneath Nelson's column. Ken Livingstone made a speech about how proud he is that London is a city where everyone can be themselves without fear: gay or straight, Muslim or Christian etc. He drew attention to the fact that in other parts of the world, even in other parts of Britain, it is not possible to be out and gay or lesbian. He gave the example of Peter Tatchell's fate in Moscow (I met Peter in the Square and he told me he's still suffering blackouts due to the punching he got in Moscow)

Ken also mentioned the reaction of one US Baptist minister to the 7/7 bombings in London. When he heard 42 people had lost their lives he said he wished more had, to punish Londoners for tolerating homosexuality.

We wrote a leaflet especially for Pride and certainly must have made ourselves known to the gay and lesbian community. This is another network we can use to get our message out there to the public.

My thanks go to all those, both gay and straight, who helped with this highly successful exercise in publicising 9/11 Truth. Perhaps next year we should hire a lorry and have a float.

Our Rights Are Under Threat
Since the first Pride demonstration in 1971 we have made considerable gains in freedom from discrimination, but now all our civil rights are under threat. The British government has taken draconian powers to restrict our freedom under the false pretext that now we are threatened by Muslim "terrorism".

Civil Contingencies Act 2004 allows the government to declare an emergency and then make their own regulations, overriding any law, without reference to parliament.

Prevention of Terrorism Act 2005 means you can be detained for up to 28 days on suspicion of involvement in terrorism, without charge, trial or evidence.

A treaty allowing the US to extradite Britons without presenting evidence in UK courts was signed by David Blunkett. No American can be extradited in the same way to the UK.
The justification for these measures is the new post-9/11 era.

Investigate 9/11 Evidence
If you examine the evidence about 9/11 in any depth, you will probably conclude that we have been lied to, big-time. Ask yourselves:
1 How did the planes get ‘hijacked’ when alleged hijackers’ weapons were mere stanley knives?
2 How did three steel-framed skyscrapers all collapse at free-fall speed symmetrically into their own footprint, against the laws of physics, unless controlled demolition was involved?
3. Why had the leaseholder of the World Trade Center only acquired the complex six weeks before and walked away with $4.2 billion for filing an insurance claim?
4 Why in a TV interview did he say he had asked the fire chief to "pull" WTC building 7 and then watched it collapse, though it had not been hit by any aircraft?
5. Was one of the twin towers cleared the weekend before the attacks merely, as alleged, for rewiring by a company run by Bush’s younger brother Marvin? http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/911security.html
6 Why were there that morning defence drills going on about the need to intercept hijacked aircraft to prevent them being flown into tall buildings - pure coincidence?

Investigate London bombings of July 7th 2005
Tony Blair said an inquiry would be a "Ludicrous Diversion". However:
1. Why, contrary to the principle of innocent until proven guilty, does he presume guilt of four men and rule out any inquiry where their families could present evidence?
2. Why have we never seen CCTV of the 4 together in London, only one image from Luton, 30 miles from London in which 3 of the 4 faces are unidentifiable is the only image released to prove their guilt
3. Why did one "bomber’s" documents survive the explosion and end up at SEVERAL bomb sites?
4. Why have forensics the type of explosive used, nor those alleged to have been left in the cars at Luton nor the method of detonation?
5. Why was there a drill going on about bombings at the exact same stations - pure coincidence?

Result: repressive laws curbing our freedoms.

The 9/11 lie, has led to indefinite war, Guantanamo Bay, torture and future generations mutilated by depleted uranium. Public realisation that 9/11 is a lie will remove the justification. Muslims in the UK now live in fear, being demonised as freedom-hating. (Germany’s Reichstag fire was mendaciously blamed on Communists and Jews but in fact carried out by Nazis and used as a justification for oppressive laws). Never forget Hitler sent half a million Gays to the concentration camps.

Enjoy Pride but remember we need to defend our liberty. Watch movies ‘Taking Liberties’ and ‘Loose Change‘. Campaign to bring the troops home but also consider that, if the War on Terror is based on lies about hijackers, exposing the lies will end the war and defend our liberties. Well done everyone who attended and made our participation a great success. I know it must have been more difficult to travel considering the events of the last few days so special plaudits are due for all those who gave up their time and made this event such a success.

It sounds like we got through to quite a few people and also that our message was well recieved. It is great that some of the other stalls also cooperated which is also very encouraging.
