NEW YORK (CNN) -- The FBI is investigating letters sent to newspapers nationwide that say "Goldman Sachs. Hundreds will die. We are inside. You cannot stop us," the FBI said Friday.
The letters were sent to nine newspapers, including publications in Fort Wayne, Ind.; Corpus Christi, Texas; and Boise, Idaho, a law enforcement official told CNN.
"We take these things very seriously," FBI spokesman Bill Carter said.
The FBI does not yet know who mailed the letters but said they were signed "A.Q.U.S.A." FBI sources tell CNN.

Ever since the scandal of the Godman Sachs staff getting bonuses of up to £50,000,000 EACH not between them EACH, £2 billion shared between 4000 staff at xmas time.
And none of them paying a penny in tax
they have been on the recieving end of hatemail.
It is an indictment of gordon brown when he was interviewed this week he said "rather than worry about tax breaks for the billionaires we should be concentrating on growth in the economy."
Remember this is a 'labour' chancellor giving tax free staus to billionaires yet abolishing the 10% tax bracket resulting uin a tax hike for the low paid.
Utterly disgusting. _________________

Remember the "Labour" party has been hijacked by the Thatcherites and also remember the 10% tax rate Brown has abolished he also introduced so not much change there then. I am glad you reveal your socialist tendencies in this regard - are you in favour of taxing the rich till "the pips squeak"? |

Your telling me you wake up early just to apologise for your beloved Labour government. 10 years in and your are still blaming the tories.
For once just be brave and call a spade a spade.
Your Labour government is the most evil, most crooked and most rotten government ever in British history.
Just say it once you will feel so much better.
Blair arrested on the day he leaves office. Gordon the moron when asked about the tax hikes for the low paid and tax free status for billionaires avoids answering.
Still i think they will still form the next government.
Because there is a whole land full of unwashed people ready to apeease and apologise for every Labour NONCE.
In Sunderland, most of the current Councillors (54) are from the Labour Party. So are you a lemming just following orders? Do you suffer from peer pressure. Or did you waste your vote on the BNP? You dont need to vote BNP either because Labour already is the BNP. Nothing different.
The BNP actually did better than the yellow Liberals in many wards.
I guess it is not a very pleasant place to live and in al probability i would rather stay in my Conservative constituancy with no BNP candidates. _________________

Calling me a Labour supporter will never make me one but your tedious repetition reveals more of you than of me. Your post above with your complaint about not taxing the rich sufficiently and taxing the poor too much is very revealing as to where you true political leanings lie, and I note you avoided responding to my comment.
I do not live in Sunderland and where I do live is very pleasant. I have no idea whether my councillor is Labour or Tory or whatever. I have no interest as they are all the same now anyway, a notion which your simple-minded grasp of politics means is beyond your ability to understand.

It is not MY government as I never voted for it. It is evil and crooked and rotten. It is so bad it is essentially Tory and became so when Blair, a self-confessed Thatcherite, took the reins. Either a Labour Party before Blair or a Conservative Party before Thatcher would be fine by me. You just do not get it. How you have managed to deduce 9/11 was an inside job is beyond me. |

Labour, Conservative, Liberal, BNP.... yawn.
Do people here not believe that these parties represent more of the same. The very idea of 'Party' politics is a deliberate attempt to rig elections, in my opinion. Don't we need an end to the arrogant and self serving altogether. If there's a 'problem' there's a solution, so whats this left/right/communist rollocks?
Lets have anyone can stand as an individual and for free. Lets have NO business interests. Lets set money up to 'pay' the people. Lets have a system, similar to Jury service, so some are elected via lottery just to protect against future conspiracy. Maybe referendums held via the web.
There must be hundreds of ways to set up better systems than exist now.
Are we really doing all this to let these b****** take a fall now and then leave all their systems in place for a comeback later??? Not me! |
