Israel’s Minister of Strategic Affairs said he has received approval from the U.S. and Europe for an Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
"If we start military operations against Iran alone, then Europe and the U.S. will support us,” Avigdor Lieberman said following a meeting with NATO and European Union officials.
Lieberman said the Western powers recognized the Iranian nuclear threat to Israel, Israel Today magazine reported. But military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan are "going to prevent the leaders of countries in Europe and America from deciding on the use of force to destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities,” and they are sending the message that Israel should "prevent the threat herself.”

It may sound preposterous, but apparently Avigdor Lieberman, Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs, is claiming that the US and Europe have given Israel a green light to attack Iran. Israel Today reports........

Why anyone should be surprised by Main-Stream Media not mentioning this issue is hard to understand - nauseated, yes, but surprised? How much have they covered the questions about the official 'narrative' on 9/11? Or the murderous Israeli attack on the USS Liberty in 1967? (See 'Loss of Liberty' http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7267134620652018859 and 'Dead in the Water' http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article5073.html ) 'Dead in the Water' is BBC programme commissioned from Peter Hounam (who broke Mordechai Vanunu's story about Israel's nuclear arsenal) who also wrote the excellent 'Operation Cyanide' on the same subject.
If any one wishes to put a spanner in US/Israeli plans to attack Iran, research this stuff and start the net buzzing. The survivors have not to this day, 40 years later, been able to get a proper investigation.

While speaking during a CNN debate, Rudy Giuliani has said that if he was elected into the presidential office he would unleash a nuclear strike against Iran. The Jerusalem Post has written that in a state of irony “[s]everal Republican presidential candidates, among them front-runner Rudy Giuliani, said Tuesday [June 5, 2007] night [that] they would consider using tactical nuclear weapons to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.” [81]

The unthinkable is no longer a taboo: the use of nuclear weapons once again by the U.S. military. In essence this will be the use of nuclear weapons against civilian populations. Any nuclear attack on Iranian nuclear facilities and structures will contaminate far-reaching areas that will go far beyond Iran.
