I have personally checked every barcode in the house and yes indeed they ALL have the number 666 on them.
The number is based on the name of the inventor whose first middle and surname all have 6 letters - so the number is the name of a man. And indeed virtually nothing can be bought or sold without the barcode.
But th real problem will come when we each will have a barcode either tatooed on us or more likely a microchip inbedded into our hand.
Remeber anyone who bears the mark is forbidden from entering heaven when he or she dies. So it is a very scary thing that is just around the corner. I am worried for my children more than myself because many people may actually think it is a good thing. Like having an oyster card simply by waving the back of your hand at the sensor.
And in case you were wondering the mark is written about in all religions and it is said that anyone who bears the mark will be excluded from heaven. Now as you know cats already have microchips. You might think that is harmless but that is only the first stage. They want to put them into alzheimers patients. Into elderly people in retirement homes. Into disabled people. and finally since the maddy abduction into children by their parents to know their wearabouts. Eventually everyone will have one.

It is always the way with fundamentalists. Forcing facts to fit their agenda, no matter how outrageous. If it doesnt work rationally, then fit it in to some prophecy somewhere eh? Oh yeah, the bible has only been around for over 1680 years, not 2000. The council of Nicaea ring any bells there fella?
Organised religion is the deadly sin (as sin actually means "to miss the point") and should be treated as a distraction in reaching higher truths. So how is this thread or any religious thread deemed part of the bigger picture?
