There was some stuff going around in 2001 by Madsen and others that implied there was an undercover war going on within the US military.

ISTR in one article that the Navy's Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) had space in both WTC7 (though they don't seem to appear on any list) and the South wing in the Pentagon...

If this information was correct it would seem the ONI were no match for the Gehlen, er CIA mob.
