What do you have in mind Tony?
1) A meeting of the users to come together to discuss the forum and its future with appropriate speakers or
2) a meeting of users to get together in person to discuss the topics that are discussed here with appropriate speakers
3) or a bit of both?
Bare in mind Sept 8 and plans around Nov 5 events |

A meeting would seem a good move at this point in time (or near future)
Central a possible - Birmingham?

No I don't think so
The only change is that the front page of this forum has been redesigned to reinforce the long held separation between what gets said in the campaign's name (the official site) and what gets said here since on occasion critical voices such as Rachel North, Jon Ronson and so forth have made the error of quoting back what gets said here as if it represents the camapign. There is no 'we' that I'm aware of that has split off from the campaign.
I think a get together of forum users / campaign supporters at which 'appropriate speakers' could explain their thinking about how as a movement we move forward as an opening to a wider discussion amongst us is a sound idea. When we have held similar events in the past I've always found them very positive.
It would require someone to step forward to organise it and to propose how the day would run including what issues to discuss and how discussions would be structured. If it is to happen can I suggest after September? |

Where is Octoberish Tony? Central England? I'll look it up.
Any kind of get together is always an energising experience, a fantastic opportunity to meet friends you didn't know you had and to plot the downfall of the new world order crime syndicate.
For what it's worth I second the post September call from Ian and Tony. Late summer will be quite busy what with the national event, various festivals and the Egokiller TV special featuring Weather Weapons speakers, specialy imported from Norway. |

| Do you remember how Egokiller played an Indepepndent festival in Norway? Well they are very clued up on the NWO over there and they are visiting Leeds for a week in September and will give a talk at Dr. Wu's and we will have films and the usual stuff. |

I'm all up for a meeting Tony, esp if it's "up North"  for convenience sake.
As I have to work 6 days a week I'll need some notice to get a day or two off, but I'm sure it'll be worth it. Good idea.
