There was a clip of this joker on the Weekly Show last night on E4; he has a piece of whatever hit the Pentagon mounted on his desk. He said that 'it was a wonderful reminder of what happened on that day'.
Wonderful? Not tragic or terrible or grave?
And still they believe him.... _________________ take the red pill

Hmm I'm skeptical of the use of the word missile. By definition it does not mean an explosive military aircraft/battery launched projectile. It literally means a projectile. IMO, using this as proof of a slip weakens our argument and should be avoided
FORMAL any object that is thrown with the intention of causing injury or damage:
Stones, bottles and other missiles were thrown at the police.

Anthony,
Excellent post; very well presented!
Well there you have it! The secretary of Defense "inadvertently" admits it was a missile that hit the Pentagon,
afterall, he was there and he should know and still nothing happens!
These guys are so confident and audacious I'm not suprised they haven't come right out and admitted it. ..
"Yeah, we did it.. so what? What you gonna do about it?"
grrrrrrrrrrrr ..

Quote: | “Here we're talking about plastic knives and using an American Airlines flight filed with our citizens, and the missile to damage this building and similar (inaudible) that damaged the World Trade Center. The only way to deal with this problem is by taking the battle to the terrorists, wherever they are, and dealing with them.” |
Let us assume that the inaudible part was the word "missiles". The sentence then reads: "...and the missile to damage this building and similar missiles that damaged the World Trade Centre."
If this is the correct rendering of the sentence, then Rumsfeld can only mean that he was referring to whatever hit the Pentagon was being used as a missile, similar to the planes crashing into the WTC being used as missiles.
I see nothing sinister in this. Clearly, one cannot interpret Rumsfeld's remarks as an admission of a missile hitting the Pentagon.
OK?

The way I see it there is only 3 ways to take this:
1) Rumsfeld is a military man and often uses unusual choices of words
2) He accidentally let the truth slip out
3) He deliberately slipped out the word "missile", knowing that the truth movement would pick it up and use it to further the no plane theory
Personally I rest with either 1 or 3 |
