I took it as a simple example of NOT being able to lie succesfully ALL the time: I'm not one to get tied up in "what if?" scenarios: not when occams razor is perpetually sharp when looking at the world

How many times has Rumsfeild had to say the same lines, again and again to reporter after reporter?

After all, like all public officials, that is his real "Job"

Say the same thing on auto pilot too many times and something leaks at the edges: one of the human reasons why Abe Lincoln declared it impossible to fool all the people all of the time

Of course, with a monopolised corporate media, dont expect it to be "news"

I dont have a date attached to this, just one of those little Internet serendipities, but I would mention that the hosting site is also very impressive and worth a good shufty round

Although I find this to be further evidence that Flight 93 was shot down, I do believe that this could easily be construed as a slip of the tongue by Rumsfeld and that any non-believer could make this claim also.

I think we need to be careful of exploiting such flimsy evidence.

Of course it's a slip of the tongue.
He's inaccurately describing "the people" ie "terrorists" as shooting down the plane, which of course is impossible
However it's a classic Freudian slip, the conflation of two different ideas leading to a truth
The essence is the plane was shot down
Don't know what this says about Rumsfeld's sublimated sexuality though
