the loose change website is down, except for a copy of a letter from the Naudet brothers lawyers.

This doesn't look good for Loose Change - Final Edition, which was due to be released as of this september 11th.

This is quite distressing. These guys are no.1 heroes to 911 Truth.
What kind of people are these 'Naudet brothers'? The 'Loose Change' guys have not been mercenary about their DVD at all. I have taken their advice and distributed about 100 home copies of their film to all and sundry.

Can we shame the Naudets into withdrawing their lawsuit? Hmm....Wokeman's post indicates that they might be in the employ of the perpetrators of 911. We need more info.

The letter says Paramount TV own the distribution rights to the Naudet's film, so maybe they don't have much choice.

It was handy for them that 2 independent French film makers happened to be filming the NYF on the day.

I suppose this poential lawsuit presents possible problems for the PTB.
If it goes to court it is possible that some significant publicity might be generated which would only work against them.

these lawyers can attempt to stem the use of these images but this action is too late. the threat of a large fine extracted through a potential lengthy court proceeding will only expose the truth and more interest in loose change. the film in dispute has been widely distributed and is currently one of the most downloaded films on the www. whatever becomes of our hero messagers we must not be cowed and weaken our pioneering efforts. our work continues.

Sorry for apparently cross-posting but a thread had already been started on this and I feel I need to make my point again:

As for the Naudet Brothers' letter, it would be unfortunate if this situation was not exploited to the full. It is quite likely that intimidation might force the retraction of all copyrighted material by Dylan et al. but a protracted legal battle would be very favourable, no!

I'm no legal expert but I think that there may be a case for the defence, 9/11 exposure notwithstanding, that the footage was used in context and the footage itself was a subject of the documentary.

It is interesting to note that Dylan is accused of profiting from his film - despite (I guess) the overwhelming number of copies 'out there' being either DVD rips or downloaded. Whilst the letter states that (of the Naudet Brothers' film) 'The final footage was some of the most priceless historic film footage ever captured'.
