I think if I remember rightly from my geekiness studies this error is caused by the server maxing out on the number of SQL connections you can are allowed to have.
Your host has obviously put a limit on the connections you can have.
It may be worth a try checking the PHP.ini or sql.ini file or conif files to see if you can increase the allowed connections, though I doubt you have access to them.....
The best bet is to ask your host to increase the number of connections you are allowed to have....

I have got that message this evening when the forum has been open on a different tab clearly stating there are a whopping 10 people browsing the forum.
So I think not, too. _________________ It's a man's life in MOSSAD |

If it helps, the message I got when trying to (unsuccessfully) connect said something like maximum number of connections exceeded, & also 'internal server error'--plus lots of other stuff. Perhaps when people get error messages like these they could copy & paste them for reference? Does your server have a maximum number of connections allowed? Or is there some kind of artificial funnel restriction being externally imposed? Indeed, is the 'False Flag Messiah' Shayler using transcendental thought patterns to cause trouble for apostates? |

its not really making sense.
most online 174, 10th of august 2007 (todays date 23 august 2007= 13 days ago).
are people sure there is a limit on how many can be online at any one time?
there are certainly problems though i keep getting the messages aswell as 'internal error'. also really long loading times and sometimes pages just will not load at all so have to try again later. |

I've experienced these problems as well. I've emailed the ISP to request an explanation, advice and support |

10 minutes ago I got this* when I tried to access the main page.
Come on, what's happening here? 911 Blogger gets far more visitors than this site, yet it responds very quickly indeed.
Can't we move to another server or something. This really has got to be some kind of deliberate interference. Can't we find anyone with the technical expertise to tell us how to negate this problem or at least understand what is being done to this site?

This is getting to the point of unusable. Its been happening since I joined months ago, Occasionally it will be reasonable, the next you just cannot connect. I'm losing posts, answering posts is becoming impossible. I'm about to change URL's to another site on ad material because I dare not send anyone to this one. It makes us look incompetent before we start.
Whatever this issue is it MUST be sorted. If its a money/server thing then say so and lets organsie something.
This can't continue and us expect to be taken seriously. Its just taken me an hour to find this thread and I'm not exagerating. |

Could this be down to ISP using Invisible proxy's so the server see's multiple same IP adresses? A look in the weblogs would say whether an ISP in particular is causing the issue. How about a poll on who's using what ISP. |

why would anyone conspire to slow this forum down or attack it?
the regular members do enough of that themselves with all the stuff posted here... anyone who reads this forum will come away at the very least not taking anything they see here seriously and therefore i cannot see how anyone would see this site as a threat or a target
why do you think the clever people at the heart of the campaign de-linked this forum - its baggage of the worst sort. A dead dog floating around in cyberspace that has achieved nothing except to serve as a forum to divide and conquer its own members
accept it or not, this forum resembles a near perfect stereotypical raving loony conspiratorial site gone wild in a bad way in certain sections, especially 9/11 controversies and the demeanour of many posters here is below childlike level.
I only visit here now and then to see if this place has gotten into shape ans because i value the effort some of the staff here do - which is unfortunately for them time wasted |

let me add that i in no way denounce the wild theories of 9/11 - i can entertain any possibilities and have an oen mind - bnut the attitude of those promoting such theories that i have seen here and on other boards is an utter disgrace.
A bunch of retards
and i except Andrew Johnson from that, i have read a lot of his articles and respect his work as at least he can articulate himself and act like an adult. The exotic 9/11ers could learn a lot from andrew's disposition |

My guess would be that the script is buggy. _________________ http://niqnaq.wordpress.com |

you were lucky.
another thing that strikes me is that getting the DNS server sometimes seems to be the most time consuming thing. If the site had a numeric IP which we could use to bookmark it (this would not be instead of but as well as its NAME, www.nineeleven.uk) we would save the time wasted thus. _________________ http://niqnaq.wordpress.com |

I'm still having a problem with the site.
I would hazard a guess that it is something misconfigured on the database and/or script.
Like having persistent connections enabled can sometimes cause that. As the mysql connections don't get dropped as the page requests end. |

Spoke too soon. Got locked out last night. Are the site managers on this problem? Or perhaps not bothered? After all, there is no revenue raised from the site. Is it a philanthropic gesture? Or does it serve another purpose? _________________ Belief is the Enemy of Truth www.dissential.com |
