I was there. It was a great publicity stunt and hats off to those two brothers who organised it.
But please can we have some of the still pictures which were taken put on to this thread, as some of us do not have broadband and therefore can't easily view video streams? Also video streams take up time when you're busy. Still photos are a quick and easy reference.
I hope we can borrow those storm-trooper suits and repeat the exercise some time. Thereby we can get known for them, as Fathers for Justice got known for their Superman (or was it Spiderman?) stunts.
Did we get any mainstream media attention? We certainly got some Metropolitain Police attention - not very sympathetic. They shooed us out of Waterloo station and told Aron he'd have to take his T-shirt off because it had a rude word beginning with F on the front, but didn't do anything to us beyond their remit, as have both Merseyside and West Yorks police recently. I think there were too many of us there, and with cameras, for them to act out of order.
There's strength in numbers, comrades.
The storm-troopers are particularly good as a symbol of a future fascistic society. Sorry I couldn't stay leafletting around the storm-troopers all Saturday afternoon, but Belinda, Gareth and I had done a morning leafletting stint at the CND AGM. Incidentally everyone there took our fliers about the Cynthia McKinney talk in Friends House on Sept 10th and the Daniel Obachike talk at the Indian YMCA tomorrow Sept 3rd. Nobody wanted to challenge our approach, call us "conspiracy theorists" or argue. It was really fertile ground for leafletting.

Hehe this thread has nothing to do with Stormtruthers by the way, well that is until now though The video is a short piece about the militarization of US police. Mind you I think that applies to most police forces these days
