I always felt sorry for Mr Kennedy. He always struck me as an honest man and so what if he had a drink problem he was man enough to stand up and accept responsibility and he should have had his parties support behind him. Old ming seems like a safe option neither loved nor hated.

Im scottish as well and I have never met anyone called Menzies or Ming. I dont remember anyone calling the retail chain John Ming. Fail to see the point in taking the time to correct me. Last time I checked this was the 911 Truth site not True prounciation of Scottish Names site. The man is still an idiot whether he is called Ming or Menzies.

My Grannie came from Aberfeldy where, on the outskirts at Weem, stands Castle Menzies, former seat of the head of the Menzies clan. It was pronounced Mingis in my youth and still is.

For many years there was an Australian prime minister, Sir Robert Menzies. The town of Perth (where 9/11 Truth movement founding member Keith Mothersson lives) near to Aberfeldy decided to honour this member of the Menzies clan by offering him the "Freedom of the City". When preparing the pomp and circumstance of the ceremony, Sir Robert reminded the Perth Council dignatories that he pronounced his name exactly as it is spelt (not Mingis). The Perth city councillors were so affronted at this "mispronunciation" of a local clan that they decided to withdraw their offer and cancelled the ceremony.

Silly and trivial, innit? Very Happy

Ever thought of being a politician? You make contradiction sound like a virtue!

Thanks Alwun I appreciate that not many people would do that. As for being a politician Flamesong I have a terrible affliction regarding being honest with people and sticking to my principles. Not values your regular politician has! Whether we agree or disagree on the prounciation of the name Menzies we are both here because we believe in the truth. I mentioned the prounciation of Mingus in my post but it was in passing and was not the subject I was talking about. my point was Sir Menzies Campbell recommended the same type of investigation for the July 7 bombings as the 911 Commission did for the September 11 attacks.

Considering his recent comments and coverage on 9/11, I wonder how George Galloway would feel about his own murder as a quisling.

He made the Blair quote prior to his show on 9/11.

In order to have an 'anti-Blair' persona, one has to be 'smart'!

How was the article picked up upon by the media, circulated when he was in Cuba (remember the shirt on Big Brother!) and now he came back with venom against the 9/11 truth movement.

Some events are more connected than we all believe.
