It's exhausting work, this. And every once in a while I think it's a really healthy thing to take some time out, for the sake of your own sanity and in the interest of a little light-hearted relief.
Here's where you can just waffle about ordinary things and the simple things that shine a little light on your life without necessarily having to make reference to 9/11.
So I'll start, shall I?
Come on England !!
I may be half the world away, but my sense of sporting patriotism is as strong as ever. Due to the time difference and the occasional ale or two, I turned up to work often bleary eyed during last years' Ashes triumph, and I fear the same is about to happen with the world cup!
Love it. |

I'm not much of a footy person myself. I find it helpful to do music. I have been remixing the proposed theme for Dr Who and I have two demo mixes already done.
I still prefer orbital's studio version though. _________________ WTC - 9/11

Today I'm off to Santa Pod to watch loads of old Ford tearing it up the strip at the Classic Ford show. Great weather for it. |

Ah well, the England game was a pretty tawdry affair but three vital points on the board. The Sweden/Trinidad game, by contrast, was enthralling from start to finish. Hislop, thrown into the mix at the last minute due to an unfortunate warm-up mishap, was inspirational. T&Tdeservedly got the draw playing half the game with only ten men.
I wouldn't fancy England's chances much againt either side on current form but there's always time to slip up a gear and Rooney seems to be chomping at the bit....
Hope Santa Pod was more inspiring, Graham. |

I've nearly finished building a chicken coop. I'm gonna get some ex-battery hens, they give em away after four years because they're no longer economically viable. At least they'll have a happy retirement! _________________ Govern : To control
