Remember when you heard about the Administration referring to those held in Guantanamo as having no right to an attorney because it wasn't "American soil"?

The same thing is beginning to happen in airports. The president of Greenpeace International was flying to Mexico City from LAX for the international conference and was detained in the international zone for five hours both on leaving and returning, obviously for her credentials as a member of a supposedly 'radical' group. Both times she requested the right to an attorney and was told she had no right to anything, because she wasn't in "American territory", though clearly she's right there in * LAX.

Blackwater is being used to suplement the TSA, and many TSA agents are quitting their jobs to work for Blackwater, who is paying them $10,000 per month.

In other words, the new 'fascist' movement in this country, one that rejects the 'cult of the State', has been slowly building up its own forces. Military training standards have dropped. I can remember going out to the range and getting less than two hours of actual training time, while Eli Israel was telling me that he was getting a full day of training through Blackwater.

So, basically, the official 'State' security and defense personnel are being bought out, and those who remain in the State are being poorly trained while this new religious-fundamentalist paramilitary force is taking up their jobs and being trained better and paid better.

A silent coup, perhaps?

Blackwater agents are already replacing the Border Patrol on the southern frontiers.

If she was in "international" territory (whatever that is) how can a US TSA Agent detain her. They only have duristriction in the USA don't they?

As for the Blackwater thugs, the sooner that company ceases operations the better in my opinion.

You are correct.

When you go through custom control at an airport you are then on "no-man's land". That is why duty free is just that.

Therein lies the dilemma!
