Was making John White a mod here again a good idea?

Just to let everyone know, I voted "No" because he attacks/mocks/ridicules/smears people which goes against this forum's state rules for being against "bad netiquette."

IMO he's one of the WORST choices this forum could have made to be a mod here. This choice is equivalent to the hens complaining that foxes are attacking them and a fox being hired to guard the hens from the foxes which really makes me question the intent of this forum.

regardless of what people agree or disagree with it should not have a effect on wether or not they are mods.

sticking to forum rules is all anyone needs to do and they will not face any problems what so ever.

i am 100% certain if i used abusive words or accused people of things with no evidence, or posted things in the wrong section i would be pulled up.

however the only ones moaning are the ones who know they might not get away with it now.

Voted yes, even though I'm of an NPT persuasion, although not of a rabid type. I don't think the technical arguments should divide us though they undoubtedly do, for no good reason.
I've personally found John a well good bloke though I might disagree with him on some issues. He's certainly not a troll.
Mind you, I find killtown's information always interesting.

Genuine greviances about site moderation can be pm'd to any moderator, that pm will be discussed by the mod team, and a reply will then be given. But not on public display

Any member who finds they cannot keep within these principles would be considered as breaching the terms of their membership, and therefore eleigable for either suspension of posting privaleges or banning from the site
