Then there's the old ex-politico's 'book deal' and 'speaking circuit' racket.
It'd be interesting to know just what tonnage of their unsold vanity memoirs get pulped annually and who, if anyone, has ever actually witnessed one of these alleged 'speeches'.

If the Chinese are reading this - I'll do one for half the price.
It surely doesn't take a card carrying war criminal to concoct some * about "the challenges for the future", "pretending to care about the environment" or whatever tripe he was waffling about.
Jeez, it's like inviting Hitler to present the Baftas.
